The High Tide Money Bomb - donate here!!

Any means necessary to hurt him. I wouldn't be surprised if they hold interviews with hookers that will say anything. Expect things to get real nasty right before September.

I really think you should try and get Wilkes-Barre/Scranton too, and not just Pittsburgh and Philly.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (perhaps WNEP? link: http://wnep.com) - even though it is a Fox affiliate, around here from what I've noticed, people watch it the most - especially the elderly.

Ron Paul is doing superb up here in NEPA - but a lot of 'undecided' voters (and there are a lot) haven't even heard of RP, despite the hundreds of signs... and a lot of elderly are bringing his vote numbers down because they think he has dropped out.

Any idea if you are going to try to have more ads on different stations, in different places?

Will def. donate once I acquire some money myself :)

I just put in the call for 60 second ad rates for Philly/Pittsburgh. Should have something for ya'll to see in a few days. We'll be putting the info up on the HighTidePromo.com site as well.

Lead animator Nathan Evans will be on The Great Ron Paul Meetup show tonight if anyone wants to tune in. He'll be talking about how he did the 3D work, etc. I might pop in for a bit as well to talk about the fund raising efforts.

8-9pm CST.

I can tell you that in my area, a 60 second spot can be as cheap as $5 a spot in a 'bumpable low-tier", up to about $500 a spot prime time.

This is a great plan. Sadly I wish it would have been started six-eight months ago in NH and IA on to tsunami tues. If say $20 million had been spent on TV ads then, instead of being sent to HQ we might be leading this race instead of struggling to survive!

I have a little experience in purchasing political ads from years ago. Local people from the area can go and negotiate the best possible deal. Especially with a local cable company but also with the network affiliates. They will deal just like anyone. If you buy a package deal they will sometimes even run the ads latenite for free actually reducing total cost per ads shown.

Now I know this will start some discussion but it's worth discussing. I would much prefer to run 80 spots for $400 than one spot ! If you want to spend a lot, the best buy is before, during or immediately after the local news on a network affiliate. Why focus on FOX news and CNN? Those viewers have either made up their minds or been told McCain is the nominee or both. Why not reach people that don't watch talking heads all day and night, why not advertise on TNT, USA, ESPN, etc, ? Reach the voters ! Not the brainwashed/braindead CNN-MSNBC & FOX news viewers !!! They watched the debates, but most of the USA, Hallmark, ESPN2, etc viewers don't even know who Ron Paul is !!!

From what I understand there are six main media markets in PA but probably dozens of local cable companies, if this could catch on, several areas in the state could be covered.

How much does this PAC take out of the donations ? Since not much production costs are involved, hopefully not much.

Anyway, A GREAT IDEA !!! Would love to see this in NC, IN and other states that are left.

We haven't picked the channels yet, but yours are good suggestions. The PAC takes nothing from the donations. 100% goes to ad buys.
