One thing that has to be considered is the reaction time of this organization needs to be FAST. If we find out there is an urgent and VERIFIED need there must be a plea posted for help ASAP, with a link where people can donate. The only thing that worries me with lots of committees is that it could slow things down. We don't have much time left and don't need to create a bureaucracy.

We're going to need various committees. Executive, Fundraising, Advertising, Legal affairs, Finance to name a few. Each committee will have separate responsibilities in order that a few people are not overwhelmed with organizing everything. All committees will have meetings amongst themselves to discuss matters and direction.

That's right. Let them know we're going to win this with or without them. We have the momentum right now, and a lot of people are asleep thinking Romney all but has this wrapped up. We're going to storm into Tampa, our very own revolution, and put things in motion. We won't be silenced. Everything possible has to be challenged and investigated. We're more organized, we're smarter, and more enthusiastic. No one can tell us what to do; not the media, not Romney's campaign, not Jesse Benton. No one. You can't have a revolution with compromises. The GOP is getting absolutely nothing from us, and we're NOT voting for Mitt Romney. We're a big, raging mass of liberty moving at the speed of light, about to light up Tampa and give the media something to really talk about.

I don't want to hear any excuses... this is our future we're fighting for, and our childrens' futures. This country. Other countries who are tired of being bullied. We're fighting for all of it. This has the potential to quite possibly be one of the greatest moments in the history of this country, to be read and celebrated in textbooks down the line.

Be free, work together, devise strategies, organize, fight until every last drop of sweat has escaped your body, give them hell. They may try to paint us as barbaric loons bent on disrupting the process, but we will record everything. We will follow the rules and beat them to death with it.

I feel liberated. Let it all out, use the energy for the good of OUR movement.

We need committees for organization. Each committee once selected, will have their own posting thread. This will keep things organized for that specific duty. Forum members can go to that particular Committee thread and post suggestions or give input for consideration. This will cut down on one thread being overwhelmed with a 1001 ideas that get lost in the shuffle. This way people will be able to follow the thread better.

By the way, I think the FIRST thing this new grassroots movement for VICTORY in Tampa should do is immediately RENOUNCE Mitt Romney as being worth voting for, and specifically state he is a big government, anti-freedom candidate that no one should vote for.

Well nasonex, I don't have much experience with a lot of things. I am more or less a ideas kind of person. We need to get Mods involved for one thing to implement some of these ideas. Another thing, if this is not widely accepted on this forum and only a couple of people are only willing to do all the work, it would be futile.

One thing I noticed on this forum since I joined, is that there are a lot of people who SAY they want Ron Paul as President but when it comes time to get the hands dirty, it's all talk.

A few more thoughts...

1) We have forty delegates at stake in one state. Are we doing everything we can to make sure they are recognized? Do we need to start a fundraising effort to make sure they have legal council?

2) I hate the idea of Ron Paul or Rand Paul running as VP with Romney. It would be like Jesus (Ron Paul) or an ordinary Joe (Rand Paul) running for office with Obama. That's right, if someone is OK with Ron Paul running as VP with Romney they better be OK if they went democratic. Romney is NO BETTER than Obama.

Could we not compare Ron Paul, or really anybody, to Jesus?

At the very least it isn't particularly humble, and at most it sounds like a cult of personality.

Why aren't more people jumping on this? This is our chance to set something up that's grassroots controlled which will help elect delegates in the remaining states. The campaign doesn't sound like they're taking this seriously anymore. They're even skipping the Michigan state convention. It looks like it's all up to us to support the delegates now.

I was hoping I wouldn't dampen nasonex's spirit and enthusiasm but to be honest Sentinelrv, this forum is about 90% keyboard supporters. I've tried in the past to get organization on a few ideas and promotions with no support. The spirit is just not there. There is strength in numbers but when you only have a handful of people willing to do anthing it's rather futile. I would say this idea and plan has about a 1% chance of ever seeing the light of day and this thread will just disappear into the depths of other fantastic ideas.

Thanks for your interest. We first need to get broad base support on this for it to be of any success. This thread will prove one of two things. Either this forum in a concerted effort REALLY want to go all out and get Ron Paul the nomination leaving nothing on the table OR it will prove that this forum is a rag tag team of people that are full of shit.
