The Burden of State Licensing

I tend to experience in the business world and just life experience at large that there seems to be a swelling of licensing. I can see the reason behind some licensing such as Driver Licenses that are used on public roadways due to the fact that it is property "owned by the public". My post is not to get into drivers licenses, but rather to look at the control that the state has over the worker in regards to his or her skill and the way he or she chooses to use that skill. The absurdity lies in the fact that frequently licenses are required to complete the agreement between two or more people which involves performance of some service that effects personal property. Its absurd to think that one should be licensed to give martial arts lessons to a paying customer, to auctioneer a sale, or even to build a house. These agreements do not involve or effect the public and their tax dollars.

I don't see many people talk about it, but I find it of great importance. Not only are you getting taxed on your income, but with licensing, the powers that be control the way (and even if) you conduct your service. Its bullshit.

Below is the tally for each Occupation Area: Mind you that each area probably has more than one license. The data is hard to read but you can see for instance that Accounting is licensed in all States. That is why their is a "50" at the end.

It would be interesting to know what the need was to create the process of licensing related to the king being as he was the owner of all property both public and private. All people in such a kingdom would have fallen under his domain. So, I'm thinking the licensing process had to be a result of appeasement towards those ranking individuals within his Aristocracy of Nobility, those he would have had to established around himself for his protection.
Any time an advancement has been made in regards to the social contract relationship between the king and the people, before his inverse or perverse of the prostitute was established to confront his conscience, he would manage to compromise their position lessening the benefits for the people by offering members within the Aristocracy a settlement that was both a benefit for them and a detriment for the commoner.
To use the American Enlightenment as an example, while our Founders said "all men" are created equally "endowed" (using this word in a different manner than it is normally utilized today), the legal interpretations later on founded the people to be in pretty much the same rotten social order that existed prior within the old royal kingdom as well as within the old puritan order.
That is why I established a new American political spectrum depicting a king as the owner of all things on one end and a worthless prostitute as the owner of nothing on the other inverse end even to the extent she is considered to be his property.
As a whore can be judged legally insane at any time, she can be legally stripped of any means to protect herself. But this should be considered as contempt against the people's Civil Purpose. Thought I would mention that as an example. When in total distress, reduce to the prostitute. Even at our passing away, the Lord will remind us that we still have a lot of work to do in helping that one out in the cold who is far less than us. This bullshit happens because people are too dam stupid to stop and think long enough to figure out it IS bullshit. That, and the ones benefiting from this crap help perpetuat the lie along with the bureaucrats that leech on.

Things like Underwriters Laboratories, Angieslist, ConsumerReports, Amazon's rating process, ratings and reviews on all sorts of websites, etc. The market is trying to come through.
 
A government license is also a sword of damocles hanging over the head of every licensee,whether they had to clear any hurdles or not,even if they were forced to get their license or permit against their will.

Revocation is a massive threat to somebody that needs that license to earn a living and it is a powerful weapon of State control.
 
Remember that woman that was FORCED to get a cosmologist license to braid hair? That meant going to cosmetology school. Hair braiding was not even part of the curriculum.

Or the woman that left her child with her next door neighbor for an hour a day so she could go to work? (bus came an hour after she left or before she got home). The state came in and said the neighbor had to get licensed as a day care.

Or that soup kitchen in TX that got shut down, saying they needed stainless steel everything and needed a licensed food safety supervisor? Two years of schooling to stand around and make sure people washed their hands and washed down counters...

If I go change a light switch on someone's house without getting the states permission, the city's permission, and the inspector's approval.... I can face big penalties.

The total cost to enter the electrical field in my area is well in the thousands. And that doesn't include a truck/material/tools. The city is in bed with a couple companies, and they are favored. Anyone else has to cut through the beauracratic red tape. Its really tough to get through. I am willing to do work for less than what the big companies charge, simply because I don't have the overhead and can still make a decent living by charging a fair price.

The system needs to change..
