====> ::::: The ALL Glenn Beck Thread ::::: <=====

Let's avoid the double standard that we see so often in the media.

I did not hear Beck say that RP supporters are terrorists. I heard him express a concern that RP's movement might fuel the passions of nut jobs who might be driven to acts of "terrorism" like that which occurs during violent revolutions.

David Horowitz suggested that it was Dr. Paul's idea to associate his movement with the Guy Fawkes incident and that RP's supporters are in bed with Islamo-Facists.

Those are the facts as I heard them. If I missed something, I welcome your correction.

I do resent Beck and Horowitz for not having the guts to allow someone from our side to have a voice in that discussion.

Pick one sponsor, and declare all out war on them. We flood them with calls, we pester them with emails, we write letters. The Glenn Beck will feel real terror, when the first sponsor withdraws, and we just go on down the list, one at a time. Let's focus, pick one, and get on with it.

bump.

While I'm here, can mods delete some of the repetitive glenn beck threads? It's starting to look like we are paying him homage by the number of threads.

He is baiting us into doing or saying something stupid. Please do not let him succeed.

Please recognize how a man of peace such as Ron Paul would respond to this ridiculous behavior. He is not worthy of a response. He will go away if you ignore it I think.

That's the thing. Ron Paul isn't giving cheeto fingers the time of day. Why should we?

Beck is trying to bring out the worst in us so we can defame ourselves and give him material to trash us further with. Take the highroad with this one.

I've never heard of him. Then again, the only television I watch is the History Channel and Nickelodeon (my kids make me watch it ;))

We need to ignore him. He wants to distract us from the campaign. He would not care about the money bombs if they were not making millions of dollars.

As for Glen Beck. I've noticed that everytime someone slanders us, the threads start out against that person, then there are several posts that say its hurting the campaign, or they don't matter. This would be true if being called a terrorist didn't put us all at very real risk. What Beck did could be easilly used against us and the campaign. The solution is of course NOT to harrass Beck. I would recommend emailing CNN explaining your feelings about Beck with NO mention of Dr. Paul per se. There are petitions to have him fired all over the internet.

By the way, this takes exactly 5 min. and could help to prevent something that is actually bad from happening.

TDAmeritrade. The Ron Paul group is market saavy, and I have two accounts I can cancel.

Glad you joined us... did Glenn's comment provoke you to register with the forum?
If only your words could be broadcasted into as many homes as his defamation has..

No I had been a supporter of Ron Paul ever since I seen Aaron Russo's Freedom to Facism. I saw Ron Pauls segment in the film and I later researched him and fell in love with his history, stance, and political career. Since then i've only been a voice for Ron Paul to my family, friends, co-workers and peers. I registered here on the forums after November 5ths Money Bomb after I found this forum.

I'm a terrorist.
<zoom out to crowd of decked out veterans holding Ron Paul signs>
<crowd>We're all terrorists, and we support the Constitution.

If they want to be absurd, don't get mad, highlight their absurdity.

My 2 cents.

Other Glenn Beck Gems:

on california wildfire victims:

"I think there are alot of people who hate America, unfortunately for them, alot of them are losing their homes in forest fires today"
On his radio show, Oct 22, 2007

"How do we know the difference between a good muslim like yourself, and a terrorist?"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuSMeUVwO40

and the big one, Glenn Beck tells a muslim US congressman, he feels he is a terrorist.

" With that being said, you are a Democrat. You are saying, "Let's cut and run." And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, "Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies."

And I know you're not. I'm not accusing you of being an enemy, but that's the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.

Bring this to TDAmeritrade's attention, when threatening to cancel your subscription, or boycott them.

Or perhaps American Express, almost everyone has an account with them.

It's all how the game is played unforunately. I'm not for allowing any of the Ron Paul movement to be treated in such a manner. Once we allow this talk to continue we'll be marginalized and ignored.

We're fighting for Ron Paul, freedom, and the return of law that has guided this country for over 200 years. I will no longer support any company that allows Glenn Beck to continue to spread that type of ignorance to a geniune grassroots campaign.

We need to set a line NOW. He might not have said it, but it was certainly implied. It's not acceptable.

Boycotts work. Just look at the Bus Boycotts during the Civil Rights Movement.
