"THANK YOU!" from the New Hampshire gop--they arent the problem.

WHy does the NH GOP have a snobbish attitude? Keep calling them, they're liars.

We only have Jane's word for that...has ANYONE heard ANYTHING straight from the NH Republican Party? Maybe Jane really works for McCain or Romney...

I can vouch for Jane 100% (and you've seen how critical of the NH GOP that I've been over this). She is 100% behind Ron Paul. She was a HUGE supporter of Buchanan, and has been nothing but completely loyal to Dr. Paul. You (and I) may disagree with her approach to this situation, but don't think for one second that she is not on board with Dr. Paul.

I can’t find a cognizant statement on Fox as to why they are excluding Ron Paul. As much as I don’t agree with Ron Paul on many (shall we say most) matters, and as Paul seems to have enough support to be a serious contender for the repub nomination, HOW DOES FOX JUSTIFY IT ?

It seems like this would make the debate a paid political commercial (as they picked who they wanted to highlight). This, in turn, would make it a campaign contribution and liable to the numerous restrictions on such contributions.

Looks like the left blog agrees with a thread on here that this is a legal issue for Fox to exclude.

Do we have an *official* statement that the NH GOP is not behind this, or just the unofficial junk on this forum? I want an official statement so Fox can't weasal out of it by pointing to NH GOP, who weasels out by pointing to Fox. The truth is, they're both responsible, and this is dirty politics and what is destroying this country unless it is stopped.

I would bet that NH GOP can't exclude either from republican rules, so the finger pointing will continue. Keep demanding who is responsible, and point to the lawbreaking and rulebreaking.

I can't imagine why we should let he NH GOP off the hook. Jane is definately a RP supporter but she is NOT part of the NH GOP. According to a message she posted today, she had contacted the NH GOP LAST WEEK about this exclusion.

And they have certainly known about this for awhile. Here's an AP article quoting the NH GOP chairman from 2 days ago:

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iNxTApa2sQRu0Xx99P3jt2bEXw7gD8TQ2N282

The New Hampshire Republican Party is sponsoring a forum for Republican presidential candidates on Jan. 6, two days before the state's first-in-the-nation primary.

The forum, where the candidates will be questioned by Fox New Channel's Chris Wallace, will be held a day after ABC holds back to back Democratic and Republican presidential debates.

"Never underestimate New Hampshire voters' appetite for politics," said Fergus Cullen, the chairman of the state Republican Party.

Participating in the forum will be Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson.

What have THEY done about it? As far as I can tell...nothing. What is there to negotiate? They either care or they don't care if RP is included. Why on earth would they let Fox News pick the candidates? Since there doesn't seem to be any action taken at this point, seems to me like they are just buying time.

Now there is the mention of a contract between FN and NH GOP in which FN gets to pick the participants.

So Fox news is breaking campaign laws. And the fingerpointing goes round and round. The truth is they are both breaking party rules and laws.

That is bull. If the NH GOP signed a contract with Fox News allowing Fox News to choose who to invite, then they are idiots and should all be fired. Otherwise, the "Republican" forum could consist of Giuliani and Hillary (Murdoch's two favorites).

So when the day come...(soon enough) they allow only ONE canidate at a debate ....heck nothing they can do?! SCREW THAT...CALL THEM NOW!!!

I am NOT saying that the NH GOP is responsible in any way for Ron Paul being excluded from the Jan 6th roundtable forum on FOX.

What I don't understand though, is why they don't pull their endorsement/sponsorship of the event if THEY want RP included and can't even get what THEY want as sponsors of the event. It would seem that if they yanked their sponsorship and put out a press release stating why they did it would have a huge impact.

It's real simple.

The discussion between the NH GOP and Fox needs to go like this:

NH GOP: Fox, either Congressman Ron Paul will be included in the January 6th Candidate Forum, or we will withdraw our endorsement and the use of our name in this event, and we will publicize our decision in the local and national competing media outlets.

END OF DISCUSSION.

The NH GOP should *pull sponsorship* and anything less is just bullshit.

I am a reasonable person, and I am NOT letting the NH GOP off the hook.

Yep, and the same for St. Anselms, whose President basically washed his hands and said he has nothing to say about it. How about saying "No debate here!!"

+1 I agree with all the above statements.

I say we give the NH GOP until Wednesday to make this right. They may not be against Ron Paul, They may not have made the decisions.... They sure has hell are sponsoring the event though.

If the NH GOP cannot do anything about this because of "contractual" issues, then have they at least made a public statement condemning the exclusion(s)?

I would like to see an UPDATE to the situation on...

www.ronpaul2008.com

They need to keep everyone updated:

The NH GOP cannot be trusted...

Intermediaries cannot be trusted...

oh, and the POS's at FAUX (FOX) will never be trusted!

RP CAMPAIGN STAFF update statement please?

Jane says the contract was signed last year by a former NH GOP chairman. And Jane is getting very nasty to anyone who disagrees with her.

NH GOP is still partly to blame. They should END their sponsorship of the event and all will be OK

The NH GOP has not made any public statement. We don't even have an unofficial statement from them.

The fact is we have ZERO evidence they are doing *anything* to get Ron Paul included.

We need to continue calling them.
