Texans: please refute this Loyalist

This Dallas Morning News article needs to be barked down.

Ms. Floyd thinks that Bush II should be the Texan of the year because he has become the international stereotype of a Texan - If I were a Texan, this would be reason to vote him to the gallows (for ruining the image of actual Texans).

Please, any Texans that have the time, write a response, giving Ron Paul props, and address it to the editor, and Ms. Floyd.

Make it clear that the Texan of the year should be a person that did something to improve the status of Texas, not destroy it.

oh my "are all Texans fake cowboys?" I've gotten this so many times it is annoying!
Of course they didn't even know I was from Texas much less the US before they asked, and I am not a cowboy so doesn't that answer the question?!

I'm going to bump this before I leave for the night, and reiterate that a letter to the editor response to this would be a great way to show what Ron Paul has really done, igniting the Liberty movement, and to ridicule the blatant butt-kissing that is the article.

I'd hate to see Texas's good name further smeared by a Bush.

Bush has tarnished the name of Texas and Texans for all the people's of the world. To have this jackass associated with Texas is an embarrassment.

Hopefully, better Texans, like Ron Paul, will eventually repair the damage Bush has done.
