Ted Cruz and war with Iran

I can't believe how some people here hate the Republicans so much they'd support a RINO-turned-Libertarian like Sarvis over a constitutionalist hero like Cuccinelli.

Because a lot of self proclaimed libertarians think that its all about abortion, gay marriage, weed, and maybe cutting taxes a little bit, but only after the first 3 are accomplished.

Ron Paul isn't infallible and some of us aren't as isolationist as he is.

And yet we are expected to treat his endorsement of a questionable candidate as the word of God.

There is a high level of inconsistency here.

Because I don't like his Idea of letting the Mind Controllers decide who owns a gun or not.

My reasons were about the 2nd amendment. And that man was seriously dangerous.

Pcosmar got duped.

Terry McAuliffe proudly supports Gun Control and has an "F" rating by the NRA. Ken Cuccinelli has an "A" rating by the NRA.

Gun Control Groups Claim They Helped Beat Cuccinelli

US News
November 6, 2013

Gun control groups say it's not often a guy who proudly boasts an "F" National Rifle Association rating wins statewide office in Virginia, the backyard of the NRA.

That is why when Terry McAuliffe won the gubernatorial race by more than two percentage points Tuesday, gun control advocates jumped at the opportunity to claim a victory.

On the campaign trail, Virginia Governor-elect Terry McAuliffe explicitly supported closing the so-called gun show loophole. He vowed to expand background checks during a publicly-aired debate at Virginia Tech, the site of a deadly gun massacre. Meanwhile, his opponent Ken Cuccinelli advertised his "A" rating as a badge of honor.

"Its a very significant turning point in the commonwealth of Virginia," says Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., who credits the gun issue for securing his own victory in 2010. He adds "in a very highly contested, highly divided state the Democrat, espousing reasonable gun control, prevailed."

NO.
I didn't.. I would rather deal with a open known opponent than be stabbed in the back by a "friend".

Cuccinelli supports the Mental Health industry,, and even proudly states that he wants to give them more money and power.

He wants "Mental Health" to be a deciding factor in who is privileged to own guns. (A very dangerous position)

I'm sorry bro, you got very duped. What happened to you?

Gun Owners of America calls Ken Cuccinelli a "die-hard pro-gun advocate."

A moderate-to-liberal gun control advocate (Chris Christie) won in New Jersey, while a die-hard pro-gun advocate (Ken Cuccinelli) barely lost in Virginia.

I do not care what they call him, They are full of shit..

They have said good shit about others that have advocated Background Checks and Prohibitions.

The "I like guns ,,BUT,",, kind of folks.. The "We need to give police the tools",,, folks.

The veterans Disarmament will be done under the "mental Health" cover..

and anyone with the next made up disorder. No guns for them..
A prescription for medication,, No guns for them.. Depression,, No Guns. Anger issues,,No guns.
frankly don't think there are any Pro 2nd Amendment politicians..

None of them say that NO Infringement means NO Infringement.

There was a push for Restoration of Rights,, Ken Cuccinelli opposed it,, with a bunch of legalese doubletalk,, he opposed it.

That is an issue that I care about. And it says a lot about someones commitment to liberty.

Rand Paul supported Ken Cuccinelli.

Pcosmar, you drank the wrong Koolaid and Terry McAuliffe, the biggest enemy of liberty, is now governor.

Ron Paul isn't infallible and some of us aren't as isolationist as he is.

LOL oh the irony. This is typical GOP behavior. Pump the message when it suits their interest. Dump it when it doesn't. And people like this have the nerve to go around lecturing others about "principals and consistency." Perhaps a look in the mirror is needed.

Being a non-interventionist does not make you an isolationist. Karl Rove and Lindsey Graham thanks you for defending their talking points though. Go TEAM RED!!

You tried to start a rumor that Ken Cuccinelli supported Gun Control.

I needed to correct you.

Ken Cuccinelli - Ballotpedia: Gun control

During his tenure as a member of the State Legislature, he sponsored several anti-gun control measures, including bills repealing the state prohibition on carrying a concealed handgun in a restaurant or club and recognizing concealed handgun permits or licenses issued by another state. [36] [37]

For these and other actions, Cuccinelli received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in his 2009 campaign for Attorney General.

No rumor.
“I’ve made one spending promise, and it’s mental health,” he said in a recent discussion with reporters and editors from The Washington Times. “And most of that is going to be shifted within Medicaid. We have huge — and I’m talking on the order of the tens of millions of dollars — expenditures in what are called waiver programs, and we can move that money around without federal permission.”

You correct nothing.

I have to agree with Pcosmar on this. Cuccinelli may very well be great on everything else about guns, but this stance is not good at all.
