So where does our government seed these storms? Just wondering.
Rick Scott the Governor of Florida has just announced he is dropping from all RNC events and duties.
When will the RNC finally give some clarity to the delegates on the situation?? The NWS Surge predictions look to flood at a minimum the two main hotels that the RNC is using. The Tampa weatherman fully expects at least "Area A" evacuation orders to come tonight or by morning.
Not only the actual storm issues around Tampa but Florida is facing possible major damage in severasl areas and will need all those law enforcement and emergency person that are on standby.
Well the storm running up the north shore of Cuba is not good.. (That was in none of the models I saw) and not the early predictions.Rick Scott the Governor of Florida has just announced he is dropping from all RNC events and duties.
Geez, they musta planted a double dose of seeds this time around..
the stuff I'm seeing says it is still a tropical storm and just 'MAY' hit hurricane status as it hits the keys.... where are you seeing the stronger stuff? Maybe I should delete the 'pussy' video I put in the thread about cancelling the convention. I sure hope it doesn't keep the crowds away from Ron's rally.
It should be noted that the global models are
forecasting a very favorable pattern of upper-level winds over the
northern Gulf of Mexico by 72 hr. Should this verify and should
Isaac establish an inner core...the cyclone could be significantly
stronger than currently forecast.
RNC has just canceled Monday's events due to TS Issac.
“Due to the severe weather reports for the Tampa Bay area, the Republican National Convention will convene on Monday August 27th and immediately recess until Tuesday afternoon, August 28th. After consulting with Governor Scott, NOAA and local emergency management officials, we are optimistic that we will begin an exciting, robust convention that will nominate the Romney-Ryan ticket.
