All that means is that the Osage did not defend themselves any better the second time their lands were being conquered, than the first time.

That pet peeve out of the way I already addressed this by pointing out that 1) the statistics are skewed bullshyt and 2) based on facts you've already conceded the black community is screwed up because of policy decisions made by racist white politicians. Years ago the Irish were looked at exactly as blacks are by you today. Same with the Italians. What happened? The Federal Government invested in those communities in ways that it NEVER invested in black communities. And when black communities got too "big for their britches" racist white mobs more than once burned the down.

From my perspective, this is a lesson in collectivization by identity. I don't consider people "my" people just because they share my skin color - there are lots of horrible, despicable people who share my skin color and lineage. LOTS of them! And I don't lump people of other races together based on their identity, either. It's not cool when it's done to me, and it wouldn't be cool if I would do it to anyone else.

Choices. Character. Values. These are what people unique. And when you find people who share those things with you, it's silly to get caught up in this weird association game of "your" people vs. "my" people.

By my reckoning, there were 6 mass shootings just this past weekend in black communities.

Whites are over three times the population of blacks.

So, let's make it easy and just say show me 12 mass shootings by whites that occurred over last weekend.
