It reeks of Kucinichesque grandstanding.
it is a bold idea that could draw attention to how really bad the bill is.

Sure it is, because the impeachment process is purely political. It's not much like an actual trial that is trying to determine facts. If enough people want to remove you it is done.Treason? No
Bribery? no
hight crimes and misdeamnors? No
Signing a bill is not an imoeachable offense.
I kid you not someone else is going to steal this idea.
Dr. Paul has limited time and energy that should be all dedicated to the campaign trail. Taking his eye off the ball now is a mistake.
Isn't it a bit of a stunt to file impeachment papers in a House that just voted the bill passed? Wouldn't they have to impeach themselves?
I agree drawing attention to it is good, but I think it might be viewed as a campaign stunt. Up to Ron.
I'd love to see it happen, although the media would definitely spin it to something like "Look at Ron Paul trying to suck up to disillusioned Liberals!"

We're still in the Republican primary and Romney is our only viable foe. Nothing would be a bigger signal that Ron Paul isn't serious about winning than engaging in hopeless endeavors such as this.I believe Obama is the ball. Ron Paul is going to run for President regardless. This could get many, many neo-con, Obama-haters on our side, which is what we need.
