"As Montauk Monstergate continues, the national news media has begun to take notice (and drink companies are trying to piggyback on the buzz). The breezy wind-up toys at Fox News did a segment on our little creature friend (who I suppose we can now call Monty, as suggested by a commenter) this morning, bringing on noted animal expert and possible crazy person Jeff Corwin to resolve the matter. There he sat, reporting live from my beloved home city of Boston, and lied to America. "It's a dog, or a raccoon" he said with shifty eyes. Whatever government agent was off camera almost certainly had a gun leveled right at Corwin's head (or, you know, some hell beast agent of the Dark was pointing a talon). When will this vast conspiracy unravel? When will these portents be accepted as auguring the end of days? For what it's worth, the Fox news lady doesn't believe Corwin's awful lies, because she Wants to Believe. This is a monster folks, plain and simple. I mean, Fox news ladies know their own kind. (Also, "you saw it here first yesterday"? Puhhleeze.) Clip is above."

It could be the media outlet....?

Ok , what do we have? A picture of a creature who was suddenly "carted off" by some old guy who was going to mount it on his wall. What do we do? We contact taxidermists in that area to see if anybody brought in a strange creature. I believe such an animal a taxidermist would need an OK to stuff this animal as it might be on an endangered species list.

Didn't think this topic would take off so well!!!! I 0wn!!.. I poked around and I believe the conpsiracy forums thinks there is some Government animal testing facility in Montauk. <-- take that with a grain of salt.

I would sure like to know if it really is a hoax or not. Someone get some DNA!!!!

I saw something like this years ago. it was a cat. half rotted. mostly
its paws, tail and face were eaten/rotted away.
no it cannot be a turtle without a shell. there is no skin under the shell.
one can judge its size by the sand grains. its about the size of a cat.

I posted this yesterday in the chat as the news just started to come in.

Turtles are connected to their shells with bones and/or tissue, so I doubt even if a turtle was to be seperated from its shell it would be as clean as that.

I want to see if the Plum Island Animal Disease Center says anything about this... or if they report anything missing within the next couple of days.

Cat's don't have beaks.

Also interesting to note, it appears to have some sort of cloth band on it's arm?!?

we were talking about this last night... i really really think i have seen that picture before, years ago... i think ill go check snopes....

it looks to me like a large cat that has been in the ocean for a really long time, then photoshopped on the face and feet

have you guys ever seen really really good photoshopped pictures of "creatures"? the APP (american photoshop professionals) have some good pics of all kinds of pics that i would believe in an instant was an alien if i saw it on the news or something...

based on my belief that i have seen it before, and the knowledge of good photoshoppers, i call bullshit, but trust me ill eat my words if i see any kind of proof, or this actual animal show up somewhere, but i can't believe pictures or videos anymore because of the amazing things i have seen done with both.

but i also do not doubt that experiments are being done all over the world, and new species are being created in labs.... the possibility of them escaping is very slim, because these testing facilities are locked down better than area 51
