STEP 1: Nominate your PAC name here (rules are inside)

I do like Gadsden PAC, and I like the idea of taking the Tea Party back from the Tea Party. The reason I did not nominate it was because there was significant opposition to the name as the thought went it might turn off anybody who didn't like the Tea Parties. I still consider Gadsden PAC as my 1st choice, but I will attempt to avoid the internal division that it's adoption will create. A split at this stage will be detrimental to our future successes I think.

Forgive me for repeating what bears repetition: let us not over-think this. I still like Gadsden. It is a right symbol IMO and the stated concerns of it having been co-opted may be misplaced. As Matt mentioned, WE will give the name its meaning, not others. It it up to us to manage the brand, just as is the case in business. The buck stops with us.

Prolitical Action PAC

This is probably not a practical idea but I like it. Prose and literature.

TPAC or T-PAC (teaparty political action committee)

The teaparties are an established brand with the Gadsden Flag too.

I like the Gadsden PAC and Rightful Remedy PAC, depending on whether it's best to build upon an existing political base.

Mmmmmm... not sure about this part. We, the individual people are the source of power, are we not? We are the "state".

"States" uppercase implies "the people", not "the state" lowercase which implies, in my mind, federal government. And using the States to nullify overreaching government is the goal of this PAC anyway. Emphasis on using the States and not "the people", which sounds more like a democratic socialist revolution or something.

I discovered some time ago that legislators and lawmakers (like Ron Paul's Liberty PAC) have their own PAC's with which they help allied members, or potential allies. I intend to name mine the "Constitutional Sovereignty Initiative" with a shortname "CSI-PAC" for ease of check writing.

My suggestion for this PAC is the "Constitutional Alliance Fund" with the shortname "CAF-PAC" again, for easy check writing.

I mention both here, on the outside chance that CSI-PAC generates excitement, I am willing to give it up for the greater cause. That said, I would really like to keep CSI-PAC as my legislative PAC ;) So CAF-PAC "Constitutional Alliance Find" is my offering.

ETA - the more I think about it though, it almost seems as though the two should be reversed..... Like a legislators PAC is to help me build my alliances, and the PAC in question is the initiative to elect State House legislators. huh. I dunno.

Well, good thing I provided both. Y'all can decide which one fits this PAC the best.

How about Liberty Alliance?

Liberty Initiative?

Freedom Initiative?

Alliance Tto Restore America? (ATRA)

America[n] Initiative?

Guardian Trust

Continuance Trust

New Century Sentinels

Ant Hill Mob :)

PS: I apologize for breaking RUle #1, but this isn't getting the play I would have expected, so I am just tossing out ideas in the interest of choice. Not trying to piss anyone off.

STEP 1. Nomination thread

Please provide your nomination for the name of our state candidate PAC below. In addition to the name, please provide a brief description (100 words or less) of your reasoning behind the name that you nominated.

OK, last try and again I apologize for breaking Rule #1, but I am a brainstorming kind of guy.

We The People - addresses everyone, welcomes everyone, speaks to grass roots, speaks to rights, speaks to freedom, speaks to what is important (people), speaks to everything that liberty loving people cherish, speaks against slavery, despotism, and corrupt dynasty. It is who we are as Americans - it SO identifies us.

We are the people - for whom else are we doing any of this?

I kind of like the name We The People, so if you can't nominate a second, I nominate it.

Check and make sure your name nomination isn't a PAC already.

We The People PAC is already taken. I haven't googled all the names.
