Stefan Molyneux To Ron Paul Supporters: I'm Sorry [vid]

Argumentum ad populum.

I can't tell you how very happy I am for you.

Look Chris, my position is very simple.

Ron Paul works day and night year after year for liberty. His chosen path is to preserve the Constitution.

Your position is to not restore the constitution which is exactly in line with the ruling class who want no part of obeying it either. If your side wins, then we'll never get our freedoms back.

This is called inductive reasoning. (actually, there are several examples going on here, including the Slippery Slope) Entirely fallacious and would lead you to losing a formal debate.

Mull this over: A person who wants to eliminate the State may, as an intermediate step, support people who wish to reduce the power and influence of the State.

Mull this over: A person who is ideologically opposed to the state even existing has a motive to see people who simply wish to reduce the power of the state to fail. I call it the "I toldja so" motive.

Except this is not a formal debate. This is Ron Paul Forums. Consistency of message would be to support Ron Paul's positions on Ron Paul Forums.

"You can't explain the gold standard to people who can't read the word 'gold'."

That, my friends, is absolutely precious.

You may not like what he had to say.

You may not like his delivery.

You may not like him.

But he was pretty well spot-on.

Except for the fact that he obfuscated the truth... yeah... pretty much right on.

Is the Constitution the only way anyone can achieve liberty? Do people who live in other countries have no chance at liberty because they don't have the US Constitution?

No it's not a formal debate. But if you treat it like one, maybe people will take you seriously when you oppose them.

The Constitution may not be the only way. It is the preferred choice by Ron Paul. I agree with him. If you have something better, then offer it.

HB, I am just about to write you off like a bad debt. I'm opposed by nearly every an-cap on this forum. It is sad that they don't read Ron Paul's works, but the reality is that they don't. They buy into the bullshit. What every.

Whatever. You ignore me at your own peril-if persuading people is actually your goal. (and I'm beginning to believe it's not)

Why is it wrong to make someone feel bad?

the better question is- why would such an act make you feel something that we commonly describe as negative, bad, angry, etc. not an argument on words, but leading you to something that is innate in your being.

Poor, poor Trav. Those horrible, evil an-caps just don't like you. I can't for the life of me imagine why.

Oh, by the way. Have you threatened to "throat punch" anyone around here lately? Just curious.

Only the dumbasses & jackasses who misrepresent me. I'm like Ron Paul on that... except Ron Paul is not violent... I can be if need be.

I've read nearly all your posts since Dec 09. You have nothing to offer me except 'hugs' and Russian interpretation. That might come in useful some day... but don't bother hugging me. Please. I hug girls, women, and ladies not boys unless they are my grandsons.
