SPLC writing DOD policy now

Are you saying this is "hate?"

My personal opinion of what counts as hate is irrelevant, but if you ask me, no. I am however, aware that governments and liberal groups define anything short of equality as 'hate'. As such, this would qualify.

Do you believe gay people & abortionists are equal?

Equal sinners, yes.

So, to declare them sinners, is not the definition of "hate."

I am a sinner. I do not hate myself, although I hate, resist, and turn away from my sinfulness.

equal sinners? what does that mean? That you're as sinful as they are?

What does that say about whether they deserve equal rights?

Gads . . .

This is a discussion on the Religion Forum, right?

All mankind is held equally quilty of sin before God, but PC is not the evaluator or excuse or remedy, of any kind.

in the context of classifying hate groups.

Do you believe gay people should be afforded equal rights?

If not, why not?
If so, would that include right to marry as they please with equal rights as those who marry opposite sex partners?

Do you believe abortionists should be afforded equal rights?

If not, why not?
If so, would that include the right to abort as they please with equal rights as those who choose not to abort?

Equal rights to do what?

Drink coffee at Starbucks? Yes.

Murder babies in the womb. No.

Abortionists drink coffee.

Abortionists destroy babies in the womb

Abortionists have the right to abort bables because they have the right to drink coffee.

???

@Nang- For the record, I'm with you on the abortion issue. WRT gay marriages, marriage was handled by the church until it was changed during the Jim Crow era because some people wanted to prevent black and white people from marrying. There is no logical or doctrinal reason for marriage to be handled by the government.

There is no reason for government to determine morals, at all. Human sinners are not fit to judge the sins of other human sinners.

And comparing sins is stupid . . .

For no sin, of any stripe, is worse than another sin.

Jesus Christ paid for all the sins of His children, without considering some types worse than others.

Sin is sin, and guilt is guit, and all mankind is guilty . . .

Only by the cross work of Jesus Christ, are sinners freed from guilt and reconciled to their Maker, and given peace and rest.

I've not seen or heard ONE conservative who says "get government out of marriage" and also un-registers their marriage. it's easy to say " I want these privileges to be gone" when you know it aint going away soon.

I was married in a church, apart from any government involvement . . . but that was 55+ years ago, before government even thought to interfere or mess with God's holy ordinations! :o
