I wasn't surprised to see the list but I was surprised to see the Constitution Party and the John Birch Society listed. But the more I think about it, it really doesn't surprise me.

As Pete has already pointed out throughout this thread, SPLC is directly connected to DHS at the federal level, which means they in turn are directly connected to every state LEA through the Fusion Centers.

And that means, under current law, Section 802 of the PATRIOT Act that was just renewed, among many other laws, word could go out tomorrow to start arrests, prosecutions and inclusion on Do Not Fly (and God knows how many other lists) of every single person associated with any of these groups.

Nothing could be more relevant and important.
