Son of Hamas co-founder Warns the US: Muslims Want 'Global Islamic State'; US Fooled

AGAIN, I posted the bible verse to show that Christianity is NOT a religion of peace.
AGAIN, you're debating a claim I did NOT make. You guessed (wrong) about my personal opinions.

 Do you really believe this proves Christianity is "not a religion of peace"? If yes than how have I "guessed wrong"? If no then what is your point of posting it?

Regardless of your "personal opinions", your interpretation of that passage of scripture is flat wrong. You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.

Anyway, I'm not sure of what point you are trying to make now, and I'm not sure you know either. I already said that Christianity as it has been practiced for the past dozen centuries is not a religion of peace. But that's not because of the teaches of Jesus, but because of people twisting those teachings to make them fit what they want.

[ Jesus: "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." ] I believe Jesus means what he says and I think modern Christians are too politically correct to admit the reality of their religion.

I would agree with you on these two items.

1.) "Christianity as it has been practiced for the past dozen centuries is not a religion of peace"

2.) People exploit religion to accomplish personal agendas and goals.

Silly, Jesus was just trying to teach his apostles another lesson. If you will study further, you will see that He was talking about two swords and they were short swords at that... Jesus knew that they would be up against legions of soldiers where they were going so what good would two short swords do in this case?

Also, you make the same mistake here as many that try to argue your point. Questions:

What happend right after Jesus said this to his apostles? (Hint: One sword)

Did Jesus praise Peter for lashing out at the enemy with his sword or rebuke Peter and kindly heal the man that Peter cut?

Gotta run for a while again....

Chris R.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39 NASB)

Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?"

"Nothing," they answered.

He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'[a]; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment." (Luke 22:35-37 NIV)

Is Christianity a religion of peace?
Jesus answers: "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Smashing idols on other religions and gods has been a long practiced tradition in Judeo-Christian culture. Just read the old testament.

Can you name a single instance in the New Testament of a Christian using violence other than Peter using the sword and then being rebuked by Jesus for using it? If yes then maybe you're right. If no then you are probably wrong. Do you believe when Jesus said "This is my body that was broken for you" that he was talking literally or symbolically? After all He hadn't died yet.

Cool. We agree on this.

Thanks for your insight. I had forgotten Jesus had said two swords were enough.

"take over the world".....

that's hilarious...they can't even "take over" their own middle eastern regimes!!!! Who exactly is dense enough to fall for this bullshit??

Sounds like the ex-hamas kid figured out who is buttering his bread.

The U.S. has 170 bases all over the world. Who is invading and trying to take over the world again?

It's not just the DOD... here's the world's largest espionage/spy/terrorism matrix on the planet. 265 "Department of State Spy Locations"

Right here: http://www.usembassy.gov/

How many FBI/CIA/NSA/NRO/DIA/FSP Intel officers at each location?

Is Christianity the only true religion and those who haven't accept Jesus as their personal lord and saviour going to hell?

Jesus Said: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

That question will separate out the Christian posers from the true followers of Christ.

a guy from the john birch society is quoting biblical verse and telling me I'm not a christian. what happened to this movement?

You know, through this whole "the mosque" flop, I have learned that there is such thing as Muslim neo-conservatives.

Isn't that like being a Jewish Nazi?

I am not sure what this guy is, but he is definitely trying to keep the idea that Islam is out to destroy America alive and well, and excuse me but what more of a credible source do Republican drones need than the founder of an ilamic terrist group converted to the good side of the force?

My dad has been warning me about this global Islamic state for awhile. Little does he know there's been a "mosque" downtown for some time.

Yeah. I wonder how many American Catholics donated money to Sinn Fein over the years?

frank is like those anarchists that post mises articles without reading them or understanding them.

every article he pastes here is from the same source-- cult-like and scary. when challenged he returns to his only source of information, searches it for a rebuttal, then copies and pastes again.

copy and paste, copy and paste... no need to think or engage one's brain.

let the demagogues and the biased do the thinking for you.

I don't see many anarchists who don't read and understand what they post (most of them understand their posts very well), but you are right about frank's posting behavior.

Son of Hamas co-founder Warned the American People. You Can Choose to Ignore it.

Co-Founder?

Are you forgetting the Hamas was founded BY Israel in the first place?

It is an altogether twisted story and a Fucked Up area of the world.
No wonder it's hard to tell the players without a program.
:(

As usual few people think for themselves, it's a natural law called the path of the least resistance, and as such people lazily repeat the lie that the egalitarian mainstream media has fed them, that Islam is a peaceful religion compatible with the Western way of life.

The story in the opening post of this thread has been told many times before by former muslims. The future of Europe is predicted in a short book called 'The Downfall of the Netherlands' linked below which was written in 1990, so far it has been spot on.

Christianity may not be at war with Islam, but Islam is definitely at war with everyone else.

Well shit! Thank god you showed up to tell us, cuz man it's all so clear now. Muslims ARE evil--the whole lot of 'em. They all want to kill us, so thank Jesus for Bush and Obama, Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, etc. etc...who've been hassling the Muslims for so long--they obviously deserve it.

Pardon me while I go panic and hide or something.

Thats the first time I have ever heard Reagan and Clinton thanked in one sentence . :)

I actually do think for myself. My experience with real-life members of Islam as well as studying the theoretical/theological/historical aspect, tells me you're full of it. You've succumbed to what Freud called "Collective Consciousness". (See "Group Psychology And Analysis of the Ego")
