I have to agree with this post.

This is the first event I was out where people were receptive to the message.

This crosses political lines and effects all ages. People a ready to hear it and we need to be there.

In our little city we're hoping to be in front of our Federal Court house as often as possible to hand out literature exposing the Federal reserve for what it really is. And at the same time collect signatures for Ron Paul's HR-2755 legislation.

I would encourage everyone to do the same.

You're right and actually i do remember hearing that the group i met up with in Charlotte said they might be doing it again in march I think.

This is supposed to be going on in December actually. And that is something we should not waste just because it is right around the corner. But I think some warmer weather would be good to plan for as well. Please come back up sometime next month and lets see if we can get some of the folks back out for a smaller (so we don't need a permit) "information bomb" during the week. Your quotes and other info on the fliers were great - I'll help work on them if you want - include some graphics and get the message out to more people. We need to flood the downtown Charlotte area with thus stuff. We are second only to NY in terms of the amount of "money" flowing through this place. This is ground zero for the south.

Since packaging with fear always works in getting the majority to go along...what happens if instead of End the Fed, it was "End the Fed;Put Government in Charge of Your Money". The majority would say WTF ? I thought government WAS in charge of my money. And they start investigating, and....?

I'd be happy to come back up and help spread the word. This is exactly the thing I'm thinking. this is the kind of thing we can do on a daily basis and help build up for the next rally. Even the smallest attempts at just walking around and handing out some literature can have the biggest impacts and also tend to not scare people off as much as a bullhorn (not that bullhorns are a bad thing, but you know what Im saying.)

Thanks for the clarification regarding the next rally and i'm down for getting all the help that's offered for putting together the most factual and effective literature.

Forums are kind of a crap shoot. A political forum as passionately engaged and ideologically versatile as this one is all the more fickle. Believe me, most of what i write quickly finds its ways to the bowls of oblivion. I'm glad this one has gotten some traction though. And I'm happy to find that other folks like yourself were already thinking the same thing.

Please add anything that you think might need to be addressed on this matter if you think I left it out.

Right on, I look forward to your additions. I'm gonna think some more on how we can get more people to consider our position. Just off hand, I'm sure if folks take the discussion to their MeetUp groups it would help; maybe a few active thread at some other RP based community sites too.

BTW: regarding your previous posts on this topic not getting the respect they merited, I'm sure the fact that the End the Fed thing just passing has made people a lot more receptive to the idea... maybe you were just ahead of your time.

haha it's all good. I was just getting frustrated for awhile thinking that nobody wanted to focus efforts on anything or organize, hopefully, and it appears so - that was a wrong observation.
