They are still deciding, and want to be careful after Rand's protest of the last debate. Expect criteria to be announced later this week.

I doubt the criteria will be any easier than the last debate.

My money is still on one quarter of one point more than whatever Rand is polling at at the time.

Not enough data to say for sure yet, but what looks to be happening in Iowa is Trump and Cruz attack each other, Cruz loses support to Rand and Rubio.
 
Without some crooked manipulation of actual poll results (we cannot dismiss),
it is unlikely that Fox will be able to exclude Rand this time. That would be a minor
win for Rand, surely to be discriminated against in the talk time. When you're that
ignored in the talk time you have to interject which can make you appear desperate
or impolite. So the game will continue one way or another. The only way it doesn't is
if Rand finishes Top Four in Iowa and NH then they will have to let him talk more.

Carson still retains a loyal evangelical base, which is what originally helped organically build his momentum, despite of the media not covering him or paying attention to him in the debates. In some polls he still virtually matches Rubio or Cruz. He may not recover the high numbers he had, but will still carry at least high single digits in IA, as he is doing now.

Hell our primary is not until May. If Trump wins Iowa Bush just wasted a lot of money. I know he don't care but at the same time he's an insider and must know something. I just can't see them letting Trump win Iowa or else it coold likely be over. Rand imo is the only guy with enough boots on the ground to definitely beat Trump. Buckle up folks we're bout to go mud runnin..

Nothing is worse for them than Rand winning the nomination. Given the choice between him and Trump, they'll choose Trump in a heartbeat.
 
Including Rand and giving him as little time as possible is the best way for them to help him the least.

I almost agree with what someone else said, that Rand's best course of action is to skip the debate and do some alternative anti-debate like last time even if they invite him.

We must flood the debate! Inside and outside! A pre-debate rally would be kick-ass just to flex our muscle!! :cool:
 
A Carson volunteer staffer was in a car accident and in the hospital in bad shape. Carson has suspended his campaign for two days to be with the family. This will play well in Iowa...dedication. I don't think Carson is playing a game with it. But two days won't hurt his numbers in that state.

Can Rand tweet from the debate stage? That would be interesting..."Ignore me and millions of people will 'hear' what I have to say anyway."
 
The debate criteria is top secret this time and will be released after the announcement of which candidates made the debate. :rolleyes:

Seriously, though, don't they need to announce the candidates in like 6 days from now or something?
