That doesn't sound very significant. Romney has to kowtow to the establishment as well, just like Rand. His comment that "nuclear weapons are not in the table but in our hand" was immature idiocy and I suspect that very early in his career he was told that the neocons were important, and that he wouldn't want to raise suspicions. I believe he won't attack anybody. That said, he is an authoritarian to the core and a statist. Romneycare is the proof.

Any price we put on our votes will be given the attention it deserves (zero)....because to give in to our price would be to lose the vote of his base and the support of all other former candidates. Why should he want to do that?

Giving in to others beliefs has never diminished his base yet. Why would it happen when he actually gives in to good stances? Remember, "Anyone but Obama! We're all REPUBLICANS! (RAH, Rah, rah...)

I actually can see one scenario where I give my vote to Romney.
Romney accepts Ron Paul's platform, names Ron Paul as his VP, and is diagnosed with a terminal disease that will finish him no later than the middle of next February. In that single case... GO ROMNEY!
