Sidney "Release the Kracken" Powell Pleads Guilty

The truth, which you likely refuse to acknowledge, is that Powell, Giuliani, Trump, and others were trying to steal the election in Georgia.

All elections are stolen. It's just a matter of which side steals it better.

While Trump was in charge of the Executive Branch, he enabled the other side to steal it with ease. And somehow, the Trump supporters think he'll win this time without control of the Executive Branch?? Even more dramatic wishful thinking than they had during the Georgia episode.

I haven't seen evidence that Trump actually did more than call Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, in which he asked him to "Find 11,000" votes. Besides talking loud that the electon was "stolen".
I don't think that this is enough to send him to jail, especially with presidential immunity.

To me it looks like 9/11 New York mayor Giuliani is in serious legal (and financial) troubles however.

Noelle Dunphy, who worked for Rudy Giuliani, has filed a lawsuit with several complaints about Rudy, including selling pardons for $2 million.

Dunphy also alleges (this allegedly already took place in February 2019!):
Giuliani told Ms. Dunphy that Trump’s team would claim that there was ‘voter fraud’ and that Trump had actually won the election. This plan was discussed at several business meetings with Giuliani and Lev Parnas.

Stated differently, prosecution's case completely collapsed. Grossly overcharged. This shows a pattern that will follow on to the other defendants including Trump. Ask hmm why would they do this? They just want a show trial of Trump to influence the election.

What? It's called a plea deal. Defendants take them when they know they are going to lose their case because the prosecution's case is strong. Trump is going to lose this case and may have to take a plea deal of his own to avoid prison.

lol, prosecution drops all felony charges because their case is SO STRONG??? Overcharging people with fictitious crimes they can't prove to intimidate defendants is used all the time.

No they dropped the felony charges in exchange for her testimony against her codefendents. This happens often. She is a lawyer herself. She took the plea deal because she knew it was a strong case and she was looking at prison time.

You are a perfect example of why they plea down. Court cases are expensive, lawyers are persuasive, people are easily persuaded, especially Democrats and Never Trumpers, against anything Trump.

The evidence presented so far in the Georgia case is pretty damning. I'm sure a lot more will come out now that all the lawyers will be compelled to testify about what Trump said behind closed doors or lose their plea deals.

Our inJustice system is as just as the # of rioters arrested for occupying the Capitol grounds on October 18th = 0

Asking the governor or whoever to find fraudulent votes, that we know for sure exist, is not damning, at all... it's exactly the opposite.

In fact, if anything, the people covering up all that vote fraud should be the ones in prison.

Go read my post on that. I said if they broke laws they should be prosecuted.

The difference between J6 and 10/18 is not whether "laws were broken" or not. The difference is that the J6 protestors were Trump-aligned/MAGA, and the 10/18 protestors are not. So, one side gets a pass, and the other side gets hit with the Olympian thunderbolt. Aka Lady Justice is the furthest possible thing from blind. Which is the root problem or, at least, lives next door to the root problem.

He did a lot more. After being told by Raffensperger that his claims were baseless, he told Raffensperger he [Raffensperger] was committing a criminal act, a not-so-veiled threat:

The ballots are corrupt, and they’re brand new and they don’t have a seal and there’s the whole thing with the ballots. But the ballots are corrupt.

And you are going to find that they are — which is totally illegal, it is more illegal for you than it is for them because, you know what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal, that’s a criminal offense. And you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. And that’s a big risk.

So, informing the car-thief that car-theft is a crime is some kind of illegal threat?!

From a game theory perspective it's almost always a good idea to take the plea deal, regardless of guilt or innocence.

And that's why 96% of cases never make it to court.

Some are trying to compare but they were different types of events. One was a violent attempt to subvert a government process and the other was a garden variety protest. Yes there is selective prosecution in our country, there is no denying it.
