I just spoke with Stewart (founder of OK) and he said Oath Keepers will pay for the cost of this billboard if you decide to go with it...
If not, I like the Jefferson/Rand Paul idea.
So how are you going to do it? 8x8 full color on ben... then black paint and vinyl on the rest? Or full color across?
Refer to politicians you don't like as Nazi's every chance you get. They hate it.
Do you mean for an applet/widgit? Or a banner that some one could change the numbers on ? Whats on your mind?how about a monthly national debt clock?

It will be similar to this -- but maybe with "Patriot Act" instead. The oath Keepers use the NDAA line (on their billboards) because it directly effects arresting LEO's and military personnel.
I haven't heard from vegaspatriot just yet, but I think the oath keepers will "ok" it. Ha Ha. -- I thought that going with Oath Keepers adds credibility to the billboard, not to mention that it may get MY local leo's thinking.
As for Rand, I will start promoting him in November of 2014. Until then it'll be good 'ol Ben Franklin.

It would be a pretty big project but here's what was on my mind: I was thinking a banner that someone could change the numbers on.
If people are going to be looking at this sign frequently over the course of the next couple years, they'll get used to noticing changes. By making little changes you reinforce their behavior of looking at the banner, and in a way, trusting its message.
You can steer their opinion in a particular direction over the course of time. A national debt clock would give some base that is changing, and will be noticed. Hell, it is totally independent of political parties. Some one could even change the numbers right after a particular news story hits about wasteful government spending.
Then roll it up and put out the masterpiece banner... lets just hope that Rand has well developed plan for the economy by 2016 (kinda like Ron's!).
