Congrats. Unless you have 100% trust in your partner, be aware that she can completely screw you over legally and financially and you will have virtually no way to protect yourself (depending on where you live) so stay on her good side and do what you can to protect your assets.

A liberty-oriented country needs self-governing citizens. Unless you pick up the slack and man up and be a father to that child, the liklihood of the child growing up responsible is much lower. That means for you, no more fun.

So, like I said, time to propose at least. If she declines, then it is none on you.
 
Hope it works out! I'm glad you're keeping the baby.

I'm somewhat the product of a one night stand. My parents did end up getting married a little over a year after I was born. Still together, and I doubt they'll ever divorce or separate.

Considering your attitude, I'm sure you'll do fine!

I'm not going to rush into a marriage. 2 wrongs do not make a right. I have been spending much time with her and trying to provider her with what she needs. (we even had a long talk about vaccines at the Dr.s the other day) I don't know what that has to do with it.

But I'm not going to run out and get married over this. I would love for it to come to that point with this girl because of all the 'stuff' going on but lets not just fall to one knee every time a condom brakes.

I don't think I would be counting on getting your 18 year old offspring's support or, "one more vote". Won't it be their job to rebel about everything we are all about??? If we're lucky? :D

New World Order got through to you. Though I admit marriage is like a freakin' ball and chain and you know your wife doesn't appreciate you, but the NWO wants societal instability and bastard children running around everywhere.

Bastard kids = more welfare, more instability. The powers at be want us all poor for "our own good." It's a lot easier to imagine "how the story ends" in a single parent household.

I see the "loveableteddybear" screen name was meant to be sarcastic.

Plenty of millionaires are assholes without any morals and are not to be held to some standard to acheive. There are far better measures of success than how much you earn. As a "bastard" myself, I was happy to be surrounded by love and was little concerned with not being raised by my biological parents.

Things have changed. She will be moving in with me when her lease is up. I must be a part of my own kids life to be certain he doesn't turn into a chronically unemployed social parasite. The only way I can do this is by setting the example and this is not a job that can be done part time. If I never show him theft he will not know what it is. If I never yell or show him violence then these things will be alien to him. My son will not even consider force to be an acceptable way to deal with other men.

I will out breed the statists one liberty baby at a time. The future is ours for the taking!!!
