Rush is just using Rand Paul to gain some press for their upcoming album.![]()
Look, I just got angry last night. Its just unpleasant for me to have one of my favorite bands dragged through the mud over such a minor thing. Danno's comment just really set me off. I mean, if they hadn't "sold their soul" to the big record company, I probably would've never heard of them, as well as other bands.*facepalm*![]()

The thread title makes it seem like Rush doesn't want Rand to use their music, which is misleading because they don't want anyone to use their music. Big difference.I heard this yesterday from a staffer. I guess Rush doesn't allow their music used with any political campaign or group. It's one of Rand's favorite groups. They've asked for them not to do it anymore.
No biggie.
No, not really.what a bunch of assholes.

I was just reading an interview with David Byrne and I thought he did an excellent job explaining why he not only doesn't want his music used for commercial or political purposes but why he's initiated a lawsuit against Charlie Crist. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/;kw=[36885,163393]
Honestly I barely even heard of them.
It's a white thing.
Non story I am sure liberals will blow up.
