SC PPP:

Hopefully the attack ads soon to be released on Santorum will reduce his numbers down a few notches. Perry will probably unload the rest of his money there attacking Santorum and the Grinch in a hail Mary attempt to place well to keep his campaign alive. Probably not anyone will be attacking Paul there except that loser Bill Kris tol.

People are trying to do this as best we can but we don't have the money and the infrastucture that the corporate media has. We're still outgunned at this point but I think this will change over time. (As long as we can prevent them from destroying the Internet with bills like SOPA.)

Have you seen the movie Money ball? Small baseball club tried to play the big boys game with no money, so if they wanted to succeed they had to figure out a new approach. So here's a wild idea, maybe, just maybe donating to the campaign and giving money to the corporate media to run a few ads ISN'T, repeat, ISN'T the best method of spreading our message/counter-propaganda. You know.. just maybe.

I believe there are still 41% undecided voters in SC. Must find a way to sway them.

We are. Wasting money and resources in SC when we could be campaigning in Puerto Rico Guam Virgin Islands and America samoa and win all 59 delegates. We would be the only campaign there. Why waste millions to come in 3rd or 4th for zero delegates?

Why would the campaign start campaigning now in places that don't vote until March?

I hope people realize majority of this is corporate media propaganda machine driven and should have listened to me when I warned nothing else would matter if we didn't primarily focus on defeating it with our own propaganda and finding a way of spreading it.

Sadly, I told you so.

I have been saying that here to since 2007. That after the 2008 race, the efforts would be better spent finding investors to create a competing national cable news outlet as well as radio that could counter the corrupt MSM propaganda prior to the 2012 race and that otherwise we would be doomed to failure.

I hope I am wrong but it is so obvious that one wonders why no effort was made considering the insurmountable odds against this completely corrupt news media we have.

That idea isn't feasible. Costs too much money and requires too much lobbying. There are other ways besides having Ron on a TV channel 24/7 especially in this digital day and age.

I think "the majority of the Military supports and wants RP for it's Commander and Chief and running Foriegn Policy" type ads may be the only way to penetrate the fearfilled war mongering mind that seems popular in SC.

I keep thinking, though we are in an awkward place with the pro-life issue, maybe some ads can take this sort of approach-

If you are pro life, how can you be so eager to send thousands off to kill and be killed without giving your congress the chance to decide if it's neccesary for our National Defence and Security?
and or

I saw a sign the other day that said,

The death of one is called murder.
The death of thousands is called Foriegn Policy.

It may be a way to get religious right pro-lifers to be rethinking their eagerness to go to war. Looking for something to jar something loose or flip a light switch on down there. lol

Well, 9% is actually 2X as good as 2008, which if I remember correctly was roughly 3.6%. Realistically, I think the objective in SC should be to get a solid 15%. Obviously more would be better, but considering how bad the 2008 showing in SC was, 15% would be a massive improvement.

SC Republicans hate Ron Paul, 33/54 fav. Pretty much what we've found for him outside Iowa: tinyurl.com/7r47omt

And that's the way the corporate media propaganda machine rolls.

I was not talking about having Ron on 24/7. Just having a non-Socialist, non-fascist. ala Libertarian competitor to Foxnews, CNN and MSNBC. As well as a syndicated talk radio alternative to Neocon talk. If we lose it will be due to the propaganda reach of Neocon talk radio and the MSM. (particularly places like SC)

If people were educated by these news outlets that are solutions other than Socialism and that there are people in government working towards such solutions, like Ron Paul and reported on them fairly, rather than characterize them as fringe and kooks the outcome of this election so far may have been different.

I find it hard to believe that there are not any wealthy Libertarian investors that support Ron Paul's beliefs.

Must have been the super brochure. :p

Nah but I wonder what a strong showing in NH, 11 solid days of campaign rallies in SC, coupled with an ad blitz could do to help us there.

I understand what you're saying. When I said that people are trying to do this I wasn't just talking about the campaign and their ads. I was thinking about forums like this and all the other activity on the Internet.

One thing that may be hurting the campaign that I don't see talked about much is how Ron Paul is being totally trashed on the popular conservative Internet sites. I've never really bought into the idea that there are no older people active online. There are probably less of them than there are young people but I'm guessing the more politically active of the baby boomers are online as much as most other age groups. The problem is that they're hanging out at sites like Free Republic and Hot Air which are posting non-stop Ron Paul hate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this?

I am not very familiar with South Carolina. I've been there twice, but not for long periods of time. However, it really sounds like a horrible place now. What happened to that place?
