Sarah Palin: "They can spend it better than the government".

I happen to agree with the OP. She is the closest one we have to getting a libertarian/conservative minded person into office at this time. She may suck on foreign policy...but a lot of the other things she stands for ..are quite libertarian. If her libertarian side is to have any impact...we need to get her into office where there might be a gnats hair of a chance to start pulling the GOP back to sanity. I wish the Ron Paul supporters would stop subscribing to communist left wing tabloid rag smears against Palin, who this forum loved several months ago. <eyeroll> Tones

John McCain has made the claim of being a "Strict Constructionist" too. Does that mean we should now vote for THAt lying traitorous bastard?

"It's God's war, Charlie!"

"God says I'm the Lesser-of-Two-Evils," Charlie! "That's what I really meant, Charlie!"

Barf. Hold your ground. Vote 3rd Party. Nader, Baldwin, McKinney.

This is straight out of Ron Paul's book.
I think we should vote for her because she is the closest one that get our ideas across.

Would a Ron Paul Republican campaign for McCain? Ron Paul isn't and for good reason. She won't be a libertarian on her own let alone with McCain.

Is anyone on this thread over 25 besides me? Dear LORD...I don't care who you vote for to be honest. I consider Palin the most VIABLE libertarian leaning candidate.

AGAIN I ask....what happened to the idea that Palin would have been the GRASSROOTS pick for VP for RON PAUL??? ON THIS FORUM several months back??? What happened to the people on this forum who thought she was GREAT? Have they all left the forum? Tones

Everyone has a right to their delusions. We see plenty of examples of it everywhere.

Not when it involves sending our youth to die in wars because its "God's War".
They lock people up for being a danger to others.

HUH???

She sure would not have been on my short list for people to run as VP for Ron Paul.

I would have made sure that the next person to take office if ROn Paul died would have been someone who has shown repeatedly the inability to sell their soul to the establishment.

Palin has done no such thing. As a matter of fact she shows the promise to play ball. Why do you think McCain picked her? The only change she'd bring would be the ones the corporate machine wants.

Bailouts, Wars, Perpetual topics of no resolve, Inflation, Laws to protect the population ala the Patriot act.

I'd spell the out the truth of what type of retard thinks Palin is a good pick, but ignorance is bliss and you can't get the self-righteous to listen. For they have forgotten that only God can be God.

Liberty? My ass. More like preferred members club. It makes me irate when I here something as silly as Palin is a good substitute for Ron Paul. Just a bunch of B.S.

bman...i guess you weren't around several months ago when Palin was the Belle of the forum. YES...she was the darling of the grassroots Ron Paul movement...their pick for Ron Paul's VP. Where are all the PALIN fans? All of the sudden this forum hates her. Incredable. Tones

No I wasn't here a few months ago. Never thought to find a Ron Paul specific forum. I just stumbled accross it recently. I also wouldn't have known who Palin was a few months ago. but some simple research would have told me that she would not be a viable candidate for a liberty movement. She has not shown a record on voting for liberty. Just an overly biblical mouth with the broken promises, as verified by her actions and voting, that come with most Republicans of our day and age.

What are her positions on Ron Paul's four points, the BARE MINIMUM we should accept from a candidate.?

Its because shes from one of the most libertarian states in the union. Though she uses libertarian rhetoric she's still a neocon in every sense of the word.
