I didn't see a post about this so...

Did others watch AC 360 at just after 8pm? I don't know if CNN repeated the same program later at 10 pm but outside in the dark a lady republican pundit reported to Anderson that the word from the ground was that Santorum's surge was over and there was no action for him on the ground and so therefore she didn't see him winning. Later on, also outside in the Iowa night Anderson asked a male Dem pundit who he thought would win and he replied Santorum. Anderson countered that he was just told by this woman that Santorum's surge was over and that he wouldn't win. His Dem pundit replied that "Well it's her Party so she probably knows what's actually happening (but in any case he would rely on the DR poll because it is the "gold standard".)

I didn't see anyone post this but I thought it was a slip up by CNN exposing the real truth on the ground.

Well, Santorum HAD stalled and Ron HAD started up again the last day of the PPP poll, but I dunno what to believe at this point. We'll find out tomorrow.

But that is interesting. Thanks for letting us know.

I wish they would have started pumping this new "surge is over" stuff a few days ago.

I'm hearing Frothy had a lot of people show up at his stops today but there was no enthusiasm. Mostly people checking him out because the media told them to, but a lot of negative stuff was aired out about him as well today. Rand ripped him pretty hard on WHO, which every Republican in Iowa listens to.

You had to go there...you just had to

lol :D

Hey Torchbearer
Remember me? - I assisted you with developing your moneybomb website back in 2008!

So the media failed already? Watch out tomorrow is the Rick Perry surge!

How do they know his "surge" is over? Must be a new poll, since they established that there was a "surge" to begin with due to the CNN GOP-only poll.

thats good, and be ready for Huntsman surge after he comes 3rd in NH.
thats the last surge they are left with and then it will be Romney vs Paul.

have you divined the outcome of our current endeavor?

It was my birthday yesterday (Jan 2). Like many of you I have yearned over the years for Ron Paul's, (and thus freedom's) success. Like many of you I'm sure, I've lost friends over my passion for exploring and sharing Ron Paul's message (even though I'm a Canadian!)

For my 55th birthday I asked for only one gift to be delivered on January 3rd and I expect you guys to come through!

The truth is cnn, MSM, etc. want viewers to believe Ron Paul got popular in Iowa because it was his turn in the not romney camp, not because of the liberty message. So they pumped Santorum to sway the people who were considering looking into Paul before they caught the liberty bug. They can't afford for romney to finish third so now it is time to slowly let the air out of the balloon known as Santorum. They want to believe they did enough to slowdown Paul's ascension and secure first for romney. But if their effort falls short they can still pump romney's huge lead in NH and the fact that darkhorse Santorum and Romney are the guys leading the way in SC. A Ron Paul victory will be glossed over and the talk will move to NH and SC, within 10 minutes of Ron Paul being declared the IA caucus winner.

Getting confused with all these surges although my step-mom had a serger when she was alive and sewed up a lot of things with hers. :D

Thought it was Newt's turn again, but I guess you are right.

So many surges, so little time. :D

If Dr. Paul does well in Iowa, I now expect an incredible "surge" in South Carolina.
During a brief dinner break earlier tonight, I found someone (on social media) in South Carolina who said they saw one of the great commercials earlier tonight. This was not a former member of the Revolution, but rather a new supporter who went on the internet to find out more about Dr. Paul after seeing the commercial, and is now a supporter.

This is why I've been saying South Carolina could be a very good place for Dr. Paul, as long as the correct and accurate message is sent. Meaning, South Carolina is very conservative, so the abortion issue as well as military service should be highlighted heavily, often, and as early as possible.

Easy come, easy go.
