RULE CHANGE: 8 States needed to be put into Nomination

Then why accept the IA, MN, and NV delegations? If they truly have the power to erase all of our delegates, then why stop at ME and LA? Why not award us ME and LA and take away IA and MN?
It didn't matter which ones they took, what mattered is that they reduced the amount of states we won so that we could not place Dr. Paul's name in nomination.

You have already said you don't want to do anything politically. So, why not go do what you want to do, rather than trying to defecate on everyone who still wants to work inside the GOP and kick the posers to the curb?
Why don't you mind your own business? I will express my opinion as I choose.

Because they only needed to ensure that Paul did not have the 5 states he needed to be guaranteed 15 minutes of unedited speaking time at the convention.

Ron Paul: Plan is to take back GOP by getting involved at all levels.

Member(s) of this forum (insert user name): Give up; join Libertarian party; start new party....

How the hell is this not counterproductive? Is this not Ron Paul Forums? Shouldnt people on this forum work to make Ron pauls plan reality and not to undermine it?

I dont blam evil and corrupt (GOP, RNC, lobbyists, etc.) They do/did what they can. This movement acts from time to time like complete retard. .... Plan, organization, action, activism. Those are the things that make difference and not splitters, whining about evil, corrupt and their crimes. That doesnt solve anything. It only weakens this movement. I saw this coming.

I feel like Cassandra (no I am not dressing like a woman... the one from Greek mythology)... no one believed me.

P.s.
Tomorrow will rain somewhere.

P.p.s.

So what will it be follow Ron Pauls plan or give up?
Whine and talk or organize and act?

P.p.p.s.

Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

Seems that Ron Paul in 2012 could possibly have the power to carry the Libertarian Party to new heights of acceptance. Remember the constant questioning of the MSM as to whether he would run third party? An endorsement of Gary Johnson would not make a liar out of him, since he usually answered NO. But it would give the LP credence and a boost, especially in 2012, when THE MASSES are totally despondent about the horrible choices we've been given.

And after all, he apparently thought running as a Libertarian was a WORTHWHILE cause back in 1988, or he wouldn't have done it. It's important to remember what he learned from that experience: namely, that it's an exercise in futility. It wouldn't surprise me ONE BIT if he'd relish the thought of rectifying that situation once and for all, and he could do it with his endorsement.
Just my opinion.

Ron Paul's power lies in his humble political purity, imo, which is rare indeed lately. I hope he uses it wisely.
Do you guys even listen to Ron Paul when he talks? He'd never endorse a pro-choice presidential candidate, especially when he's running a third party vanity campaign and not something productive like running for U.S. Senate from New Mexico.

Im not sure why this is a shocker. I frankly don't blame them either. We were utilizing the rules to infiltrate and take it over. Of course they want to block us. Why would they want a group that's only marginally ideologically aligned to take of the party? What sucks is if our back door plan worked we'd be disenfranchising 30%+ of the nation. They are brainwashed fools, but their voice should be heard, just like our disenfranchised voice does. The two party system sucks (a third party is pointless unless we change systematically why there are 2 parties)

Either why it's not surprising. They want to preserve their power and voice. We tried to use the rules to gain it, they are using the rules to preserve it. They are just doing it in an evil fashion to protect many of their evil ideas

How can anyone be expected to make an investment and then, when it's about to come fruition, the interest rate and dividend is changed retroactively to disadvantage you?

Dear Son,

We need to have a talk.

Your beloved father,
Benjamin S. Bernanke

They're going to keep changing the rules no matter how many "gains" people here think we've made. And it won't end here. If more "gains" are made by 2016, they will only raise the bar higher to freeze us out again.

This is OUR fault. This entire rules saga is the liberty movement's fault. Why? Because we have not been involved enough in the parties to be in a position to make the rules.

I don't fault the GOP at all. They are making the rules that benefit their candidates. We can't change the rules because we are not in the position to make the rules benefit us. The blame rests squarely on our shoulders.

You are wrong because they have not only been cheating Ron Paul with delegates, they have been cheating in the popular vote as well. It is Ron Paul and his supporters that are being disenfranchised here, not the neocons. All you have to do is to look at the crowds Ron Paul gets compared to the crowds Mitt Romney gets and that should be apparent to you.

I don't even know how you can say you don't blame the GOP after the events of this past week. I could agree that they want to benefit their candidate (but Ron Paul was also one of their candidates!) but changing rules at the 11th hour...how can you defend that?

Talk about a heavy case of blame the victim. Did she have it comin' for wearing that tight mini-skirt too?

But why complain about the rulemaking when so many have shunned working in the party? If we had a majority of AED's on the rules committees, we would not be having the problems we are having now.

Oh, please. They would have changed the rules about being elected to the rules committee.

Yes we are being disenfranchised now but if the stealth delegate strategy worked then they would be disenfranchised. Neither is right

What "stealth delegate strategy"?

Our delegates were duly elected last I knew.

Call it whatever you want. I don't think anyone should be disenfranchised. Do you think we are now? Do you think the legions of mainstream Republicans, brainwashed and misguided as they are, would be disenfranchised if we got Ron nominated with only a fraction of the popular vote? I find both unacceptable.

Also crowds do not equal votes. Romney clearly got more votes and more delegates. Yes we got screwed on a lot of delegates. But we need to remember this is a political party that we do not belong. Why the hell would they do anything that would help us win? It is crazy that anyone truly thought we had much of a chance to take over a private political party in which our views are dramatically different. The issue isnt that weve failed to take over a party in which we do not belong but rather a system that only allows for the voice of two political parties.
