Rudy: "and Ron Paul"

That wasn't a dropping out speech, was it? It sounded like one, but not quite...

Rudy was not being "cute" or "funny" in his comments about Ron Paul. He was mocking us, the grassroots in particular. He's a dink.

I'll tell you what. Rudy was pretty good on the economy. It just his foreign policy and lack of respect for civil liberties that scared me. Those may be OK when you just have a police department at your disposal. But when you have the IRS, FBI, CIA, NSA, ect... it gets a bit scary.

Rudy pushed tax cuts (which congress controls) and didn't talk at all about cutting spending (which the president controls). He's a RINO.

Someone please post a youtube when you get it.

I find it really rude and annoying that a thread starts with minimal info for those who don't have cable or just missed the clip you're referring to. If you're going to talk about something you just saw, just preface/explain it and try to obtain a video for others. Otherwise its truly annoying, leaving everyone else to sift through pages of a thread just to get some info about what happened.

Apparently, McCain is still hurting from Ron exposing him on economics in the debate the other night. He mentioned everyone else but Ron.

I hate to say anything good about Giuliani but I didn't see it as mocking. He acknowledged his opponents as honorable men, mentioning McCain and Romney. He started to go on then realized he hadn't mentioned Huckabee -- mentioned him, then when on to include Ron Paul ("... and Ron Paul). After he mentioned Ron Paul, he said that he "Paul" won all the debates, you know, where people vote with text messages. He didn't imply that people voted multiple times, but it was also clear that he didn't think that meant Paul had actually won the debates.

He didn't have to acknowledge Paul (the MSM certainly wouldn't have called him on it) but he did. It was good for Paul -- better than he's getting from the MSM today and tonight.

Rudy had some nice words for Ron, so I for one appreciate that. McWarmonger, on the other hand, had nice things to say about everyone BUT Ron.

Fuck you, McCain!

One more victory for us: We have outlasted our original antagonist in this race!!! :D

Rudy did one good thing during this campaign. He miscalculated in that early debate and tried to score points by attacking the "funny fringe guy" and it backfired. It was total blowback and it propelled RP into the spotlight. Thanks Rudy! Ba-bye!

That line about him winning all the debate polls was hilarious, because if you look at all the actual votes, Paul beat Giuliani in most places.
