Ron Paul's pointless Internet presidency
h ttp://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-s-pointless-internet-presidency.html

The grassroots support Paul lavishly enjoys is either illusory—"astroturfing" by a campaign determined to make its marketing initiatives seem organic—or real.

the article just went past the whole small contribution moneybomb approach to campaigning even
though it drives the bandwagon we have rolling. simply winning online polls does not cut it totally.

Yahoo Pravda

Interesting. The TV news never mentions Ron but the internet does... I've only been able to use the internet to promote Paul video speeches and such. Yahoo fail. Again. Always.

Ron Paul. Elfin ob-gyn goldbug. Ayn Randian. Foe of war, abortion and government. Texan. Rejector of Medicaid, rejector of Medicare. Climate-change skeptic. Keeper of odd company. Espouser of tendentious views.

Virginia Heffernan is a tool.

Sickening hit piece...which is why of course, it's on top of the front page of Yahoo! now with the worst photo of Paul I've seen. Yahoo! news is garbage.

Wow, I'm speechless.

Also, is it just me, or did the cowards at Yahoo turn off comments for this article...while leaving them on for every other Yahoo news piece?

Cause at the moment, this is the only article I see on Yahoo with no comments or comment form.

she has a book coming out! Let's be sure to review it :)

Heck, you could spend all day reading this stuff. Just go to Townhall and announce you're a Ron Paul supporter.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, someone remember when her book comes out. I will gladly review it. What a bumbling bitch.

What she fails to realize is its the message not the man.

Though it is rather snarky, there was some truth to it. We don't realize it of course because we are one of the people she's talking about, but for someone on the outside who doesn't pay all that much attention to the news, that is probably what we look like. It's unfortunate, and just a matter of fueled perception, but it's the truth.

They said it was the newbies with the negative attitude, lol.

My view has nothing to do with negativity, just what I've gathered from talking to regular people who aren't avid Ron Paul supporters. Ron Paul's support started in 2007 with word spreading around the internet and largely remained there for most of that election cycle. This year things have been a little different, but the image is still there in the minds of many people.
