Ron Paul's Delusional And Passively Narcissistic Worldview: An Essay
Tweet

It amazes me how willingly Ron Paul chooses to ignore the truth about the world in which we live and how convinced he and his cult have become of his feigned knowledge of history, culture, and warfare. Of course, if one takes many of Dr. Paul's positions to heart, one might be left to believe that there was no knowledge, history, culture, or warfare until misguided Americans chose to ignore the Constitution of the United States. If one believes Dr. Paul, who has occupied his seat in Congress for over 20 years (such a Washington outsider is he), the Shi'a Twelver theology that drives Iran's present leadership and existed for over 1,000 years before the United States Constitution, would have never been at odds with us were it not for U.S. misgivings since 1953. It seems that Dr. Paul at least acts like he believes that any force or power that has ever held the United States of America anathema has only done so because wayward American leaders fail to channel our Founding Fathers as truly as does the Congressman from Texas and his cult-like following.

One might say that Congressman Paul's worldview is brilliant in its utter simplicity. And simple it is. According to Paul and his followers, we would be left alone by our enemies were it not for the U.S. Navy and Air Force zooming hither and yon in the skies over Muslim countries dropping bombs willy nilly for the following apparent reasons:

Reason Muslims Hate Us So Bad #1) What God fearing military man or U.S. Founding Father despiser doesn't hate Muslim women and children? And that's why peace-loving Muslims want to do things like fly planes into our buildings and develop nuclear weapons to be used against us (and Israel) someday. We all know that before Abraham Lincoln destroyed individual liberty forever in this country and stuff like that, that all pre-Lincoln real Americans just loved Muslims and simply left them alone to pray five times and day and terrorize the high seas, as was their individual right to do. In fact, so respectful was authentic Founding Father Thomas Jefferson's respect for the jihadist raiders of the Barbary Coast. The Barbers claimed jihad, even way back when they loved real Americans like Ron Paul and Mike Church. In fact, after he KICKED THEIR ASS from Algiers to Bizerte and back (which is how one earns the REAL respect of Muslims and their Mujahedeen) the Muslim Barbers presented Founding Father Thomas Jefferson with his very own Qur'an. Oh, and unlike TJ's personal copy of the Bible, Mr. Jefferson didn't snip out all the words that Jesus said from his Qur'an, because the Caliph Uthman and his secretary Thabit already did that 1,200 years earlier! But, I digress with all of this silly pre-U.S. Constitution haters of Jesus and individual liberty and actual history stuff. Just don't tell Dr. Congressman truth seer Ron Paul that the Caliphate and the Muslim Umma had no use for our values even before we kicked their butts in North Africa and in World War I. In fact, Mr. Paul and his cult are going to have to go back a lot further than the age of U.S. Navy and Air Force precision guided munitions to find that men like Usama bin-Laden hated (and still do) what they viewed as the Satanic practice of men creating their own laws (like the U.S. Constitution says we should). In other words, Thomas Jefferson, apparently misunderstood the U.S. Constitution and individual freedom and liberty and also misunderstood all about not getting involved in foreign entanglements, too! In fact, Ben Franklin, John Adams, and George Washington must have misunderstood the whole foreign entanglements thing, too, because they got the foreign French and Germans involved in our domestic entanglement with the Brits, who were foreign, sort of. All that said, I must get back on the rails and surrender to the New History of the World According to Ron Paul and Mike Church that Muslims never had anything against us until we bombed them first and refused to leave their lands like Usama bin-Laden (official spokesman for all Muslims worldwide) ordered us to do.

Oh, and Shi'a Muslims had nothing but the very highest regard for Constitution-loving Americans until the unconstitutional CIA helped knock off Iranian President Mossadeq in 1953 and install Reza Shah Pahlavi, both of whom were equally hated by the rising Shi'ite Theologian, the mullah Ruholla Khomenei (given, but never really having earned the title, Ayatollah). Yeah, that's a little darling of a factoid that deep thinking Beltway Iran think-tankers and other mile-wide, inch-deep analysts just love to whip our to show their "depth" of knowledge about Iran by quoting and re-quoting the little "meddling in Iranian affairs" ditty about Mossadeq. Of course, when compared to the majority of Americans who know little-to-nothing of Iranian culture and history before the evil and unconstitutional CIA came along and started "meddling," the Mosaddeq-1953 ditty makes re-quoters like Dr. Mr. Congressman Paul sound like they're super knowledgeable about foreign events and culture upon requoting the requoters. After all, Dr. Paul can re-quote book jacket data about events that go back as far as 1953! And that's just about why all the Shi'a in Iran (and maybe Iraq) hate us so bad. All those Sunni Muslims hate us because we've been bombing them and quartering troops in their homes evil-Brit pre-Revolutionary-War-style. And we know that's why they all really hate us, because Ron Paul says so and he's a Dr. who's delivered 4,000 babies and has been an outsider in Congress for over 20 years (plus he looks 120 years old), so he must know what he's talking about! Just ask his followers.

Reason Muslims Hate Us So Bad #2) Brainwashed and misdirected, U.S. Constitution misunderstanding U.S. Air Force and U.S. Naval Officers need some decent and adequately sexy stories to tell at bars and O-Clubs to pick up chicks the world over. What better way to generate testosterone-laden tales of badness than to go drop a few precision-guided munitions on Muslim women and children and skedaddle on back to the O-Club in time for happy hour!

Reason Muslims Hate Us So Bad #3) We NEED to make Muslims hate us because ever since the Soviet Union dissolved into a big field of peace, milk, honey and daisies, our evil, profiteering defense contracting industry ran out of evil commies to combat with airplanes, ships, tanks and bombs. Therefore, in the world according to Ron Paul and Mike Church, the U.S. defense department and their co-conspirators in the defense contracting industry, warmongers and imperialists like me NEED enemies and wars the world over to keep the weapons and dollars (for oil and, in Ron Paul's case anyway, Jews I suppose) flowing like the Gulf of Mexico into New Orleans' 9th Ward after Hurricane Katrina.

And soooooo.... if it just weren't for 1-3 above and if the United States would just go all the way back to the way we were before World War II, or maybe just after WWII, when we seemed to be loved everywhere in the Muslim and Third World that National Geographic sent photographers, then the world according to Ron Paul and Mike Church would be damned near perfect. That is, if it weren't for the FACT that for approximately 1,400 years before we beat the Ottoman Empire into submission in World War I, Mr. Paul's peace-loving Muslims were invading, burning, murdering, beheading, marauding, occupying, and forcing capitulation in the name of God from Mecca, to Cadiz and China and back. You know, Mr. Paul, the activity in the preceding paragraph was taking place in huge volumes for 1,200 years before there was a U.S. Constitution and in the mind, heart, and belly of the Muslim world for 1,400 years before Mike Church made a cartoon about the Constitution (a Constitution that I'm curious to know if he's ever raised a hand to support and defend... and I'm not interested to hear if he would if the world were just the way he wanted it, or maybe if it were the Confederate Constitution...) "If at first you don't secede, try, try again." Isn't that what you always say, King Dude? To "what" would you secede, King Dude? France? Or, post-Louisiana-Purchase Louisiana?

I am quite frankly mystified by people, including Satellite Radio talk show host, Mike Church (who makes cartoons about a Constitution he's never shown the courage to defend, under the guise, I suppose, that we fight nothing but illegal wars that generate our just desserts when Islamic militants fly fully loaded, fuel laden passenger jets into our iconic buildings killing thousands of our own, and other, citizens). Rather than feel ashamed of earning the ire of Americans like me for their Code Pink-like mores, they are, I am quite certain, proud of the reaction they get from our warrior-class of citizen. People like this guy, who's done little other than talk about stuff and make cartoons, and thousands of others, then are delusional enough to post on Facebook that members of the U.S. military "overwhelmingly" support the worldview of Ron Paul. False. I am an actual career Naval Officer. You, Mr. Church? Whence comes these scientific statistics that give cause to the use of words like "overwhelmingly?" I am an actual evil defense contractor, Mr. Church, and I work with military members and past members of every rank and branch and my daily contact indicates that military members "overwhelmingly" find Dr. Paul's worldview insane, despite the emotionally charged content in the video you chose to post on Facebook the other day.

Mr Paul and (people like) Mr. Church believe mistakenly that the ONLY reason Iran wants a nuclear weapon is because they feel threatened by the military stances of Israel and the U.S. -- they could not be more off base. Iran feels threatened by the U.S. and Israel by the VERY EXISTENCE of the two freely democratic states and "little "r"' republics. They are, BY THEIR VERY EXISTENCE, anathema to the goals and end state Iran believes it must arrive at, not from a "rational state actor" standpoint, but from a theological and (in theological terms) and apocalyptic standpoint according to the apocalyptic dogma of Shi'a Islam. Mr. Paul says that his solution to Iran's desires for the Greater Middle East and the world -- his corrective measure, if you will -- is as follows: "Well, I would be their friend." Let me tell you something you don't understand, Mr. Paul; Iran does not want to be your friend. You, Sir, are anathema to everything for which the Islamic Revolutionary Government of Iran stands. All of your talk of (one of the areas about which I myself become conflicted about you, because I AGREE) of individual freedom and liberty, could not be further from the very meaning of Islam itself, especially the organic apocalyptic view held by Iran's present day leadership. To the people whom you claim to desire friendship, Sir, to espouse individual freedom and liberty and the natural rights of man, is Satanic. You will never be their friend, Sir, and they will never be yours. If the latter somehow becomes a goal of a Ron Paul Presidency, then your presidency would be sunk in a morass of Iranian mastery of manipulation, debate, semantics, argumentation, and obfuscation that would leave you wishing for better days, like when you were studying organic chemistry in pre-med. As for you, Mr. Church, you should go to Iran -- or ANYWHERE in the Middle East (have you even been?) -- and just try your hand at buying a couple of rugs in a rug souk. Like most Westerners who do so, you might drive what you consider to be a hard bargain and walk away with a couple of rugs under your arm believing you had the merchant at your mercy, having talked him down more than half (twice!) on his asking price. You will never get the best of the people of this region and you will never be their friend. Fact. But, you can still do business with them, provided it is NEVER done from the foundation that you believe they will:
1) Be your friend
2) Like who and what you are
3) Respect a man who puts anything before his own family, faith, and country. Such a man CANNOT be trusted... and that's the goin' in position.
Maybe you will "get it" someday, but I am not hopeful. Too important to you is the cult-like following you have amassed and the wholesale mind meld you have all entered into. I have heard callers into Mr. Church's show ask if there is ANYTHING about Mr. Paul with which he disagrees. He cannot, without great struggle, bring himself to find a single thing. That in itself, is troubling and is a pandemic among Mr. Paul's followers.
Mr. Paul claims that Iran, like the former Soviet Union (who had 3,000 nuclear weapons... now, as Russia, the former Soviet State possesses thousands of nukes), would not use their nuclear weapons against us... again, JUST LIKE the Soviet Union did not. Well, the Soviet Union was, relatively speaking, a rational state actor that had no real desire to destroy what they one day intended to occupy. With Iran, we are dealing with a completely different animal. They believe that the Mahdi and God are going to "heal" everything, so IT DOESN'T MATTER if they nuke us and Israel. If it happens, it was GOD'S WILL, not Iran’s actions or Mr. Paul's failure to stop them, that caused it to happen. The Soviet Union, on the other hand, was completely secular/Godless in their calculus.

NO ONE in the actual business of war, loves war, Mr. Paul, but the United States Military is the most formidable military forces in the history of the world, and it HAS TO BE. While we may not need hundreds of military bases the world over, neither do we want to revisit the days of the pre-World War II era where we had no global presence at all; where millions of lives were shed, one could say, because of our absence in Europe and Asia. Europe was stabilized and shielded in relative peace, as was Asia, for three-quarters of a century because of that presence. If you believe that the result would have been the same, or better, without our presence abroad, then you are not only delusional, but the sum of all your simple brilliance has been rendered stupid.

Frank is a retired Naval Intelligence Officer with 23 years active duty and nearly 30 total years’ service in the intelligence community. From 2001 until his retirement from active duty in 2004, Frank served at Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) as Chief of Intelligence Operations, deploying in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. In 2004, Wuco was tasked by renowned Special Forces General Gary Harrell to establish SOCCENT’s first analytical Red Team to, as Harrell said, “get inside the enemy’s head to understand how they think and give me a crystallized vision of the battlespace.” Following the success of his SOCCENT efforts, Wuco was recruited in 2006 to establish the first Red Team at U.S. Central Command, which he led until 2010. As Red Team founder at both units, he served as author and chief editor of dozens of paradigm shifting papers read by every USCENTCOM Commander from General John Abizaid to General David Petraeus, as well as the Secretaries of Defense, Joint Chiefs, and White Houses of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. His tours of duty have also included multiple at-sea deployments, a tour in Bosnia in 1996 conducting Human Intelligence operations, and as the last commander of the U.S. Navy's HUMINT operation in Berlin, Germany. A pioneer and expert in analytical Red Teaming, Wuco now consults to the U.S. Government on the perilous phenomenon of Islamic radicalism and adversary decision making processes. Frank is the recipient of many military awards and decorations. Given from the foundations of the Koran, the traditions of Muhammad, and Islamic law, you come to understand jihad in a way that has never been so personalized. You will be awakened to the full extent of the danger that the jihad obligation represents to both Western and Muslim society. “Journey to Jihad” is a living encounter with one who has committed himself to JIHAD! This fool is a so called "Jihad expert" lol.

I'll stick with Dr. Michael Scheuer, who has two Masters and a Ph.D. in history, along with an extensive career in the CIA, serving in the Middle East command unit of the CIA during the Soviet - Afghan war, and later leading the Bin Laden unit.

right.dehumanize them,so that we can bomb them. chief of unintelligence operations, more like it.he must the the guy who typed up all the fairytale WMD reports as well

These are just the same ridiculous arguments that Tom Woods has already destroyed in the Lord critique. Nothing to see here.

Oh the irony... when I explain to people, of the Soviet Union, how they operated, how they fooled the WARSAW PACT, Soviet forces, fooled the citizens on what to think about the opposition. Now see this "indoctrination of political conditioning" going on in the US military as well as the US public.

For you military buffs, look no further than a quick analogy on the movie Red October. The first person killed in the movie is the GRU political officer.

PS: I see a lot of support for this Wacko Wuco dude on Twitter... Romney and Newt followers

PSS: The whole "Red Mind" org is scary icon in itself.

right,so why is the US policy not to bomb the wahabi saudis into stone age? they are the worst jihadis and the islamists most likely to spread islam by the sword.not to mention most of the 9/11ers were from saudi arabia. what gives? why cozy up to crazies?
