Ron Paul vs. Bernanke on now!

TRUE STORY - Murray Sabrin meets Ben Bernanke

The day that Murray and his staff traveled to DC to tape the video endorsement by Ron Paul, near Ron's congressional office, we parked the car and as we got out and walked into a cafe, who was entering the Wachovia bank to withdraw cash but BEN BERNANKE!

This was on January 22, the very day that the FED cut rates by 75 basis points.

Murray went over and introduced himself, to the chagrin of the Secret Service guy there protecting Bernanke, and told him that he was running for the US Senate.

Watch this video for a recap - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbENPcFjVog

What these guys will do to Bernanke next year together will make him wish he never took the job.

Like Ron, Murray has been fighting the FED since 1976 - http://www.murraysabrin.com/federalreserve.asp

So basicly Bernanke admitted that inflation is going to follow oil? Nice. Given the war and everything else we can blame oil prices on, it doesn't seem they are going to stop the inflation any time soon since the neocons are persistent on 'staying the course' no matter how much the middle class and poor people suffer.

Bernanke is right on one thing. It's the responsibility on Congress to change our monetary policy. Harassing him isn't going to get it done. Congress are the ones that need to be harassed.

Yes, some of you should be in there. So when are you going to run??? :)

The sooner the better I say.

Is there some legal action that can be taken against these shmucks? Censoring a leading member of this House Banking Committee while he's speaking is beyond Orwellian. Something needs to be done.

I think over half the people here say anti-freedom, anti-property rights, anti-free speech, pro state controlled media (or "the people controlled") crap like this every time we talk about media.

How on earth these people think they believe in the Constitution or Ron Paul's message of freedom?

Just ban anyone that says anything like that ever again. They are fascists. (kidding about banning--but WHY do people think and say stuff like that? It's the most incredible thing I've ever heard.

Cinderella said "so yes it is a conspiracy"

This isn't a thread about that, it's about the meeting. Again, you can watch the hearing live and unedited.

Can you just watch the unedited live broadcast instead of trying to say that everyone is in a conspiracy against Paul? "Zomggg fox went to commercial before paul spoke they must hate him"

I've got to agree with those who've pointed out your aggressive and unwarranted accusations.

Anyone who has been paying attention to the Presidential campaign is well aware at this point how Paul has been censored. The choreographed nature in which the mainstream media ignores him, particularly when on an issue such as this one there is no more educated and informed legislator in all of Congress, is a disgrace. It is also wholly undeniable.

They purposely deny an extremely large cross-section of the American populace from witnessing what Dr. Paul has to say, as they again did in this case.

Separately, if you're not an apologist for the censorship that has been undeniably implemented to keep Dr. Paul's voice out of the public eye then at the very least your attitude is bad and your manners poor...

As a presidential candidate, Paul's comments and questions to Bernanke should have been quoted all over the media today and addressed one of two ways:

1) "That guy Paul is crazy - did you hear what he just said to Bernanke?"
2) "Presidential candidate Paul is crazy like a fox - did you hear how he just took Bernanke to school?"

We all know #2 is how it went down.

To ignore a presidential candidate, who is a senior member of the Finance Committee, accusing the FED Chairman of immorally and purposefully causing inflation that is destroying our ecomony, is beyond belief. The only explanation is a purposeful media blackout. (I know, I'm preaching to the choir)

I looked through many MSM publications about the committee meeting today. It is all about Bernanke, Bernanke, Bernanke.

And yet Fox, CNN, and CNBC all broke into programming to cover 15 solid (boring) minutes of the Butts murder trial sentencing.

Stossel's "Give me a break" line comes to mind!

It's beyond belief, isn't it? #1 issue is economy. Our dollar is falling. Market could crash *any* second. And THIS is ignored? And don't forget the steroid coverage today...they made time for that, too. Oh, and Britney got to see her babies!

maybe they are in favor of having the federal reserve system

Anything to shield them from actual RESPONSIBILITY....what politician actually wants that???? they will just look bad and not get re-elected if that were the real measure of their office.
