Ron Paul trending #2 on Yahoo

Hopefully not because of his FEMA 'response'

you are just a little ray of sunshine....

He's been through FEMA responses before. They ALWAYS ask him that right after a national emergency. He isn't saying having sent in taxes for that they shouldn't get service, he is saying the whole system needs to be changed.

hah, sorry :o

(I can't help myself... his response was easily one of the dumbest things he's said this election)

I know what he meant - and so do most of his current supporters - but all the people who don't understand his philosophy yet will not respond positively to these types of statements. The hyper-partisan obama-bots in the MSM and r/politics will demagogue his response as much as they can since he has yet to provide a detailed 'blueprint' that will shut them up... and continuing to give comparatively vague alternative 'solutions' will only make matters worse...

It's sort of like Santorum not being able to control himself when asked gotcha-social-issues-questions. Just a lose/lose no matter which way you slice it. Ron knows better.

Anywho, is this why he's trending?
Crowley goaded him by focusing the question on "federal money"

Could be trending for a lot of reasons...

People are wondering how in the hell he could win 3 states on Tuesday
People are wondering how he got 2nd yesterday
People are wondering how he can be so cruel to tornado victims...(hope not but seriously Ron you gotta pick your words better)

Or maybe, just maybe, it's all them Alaskans up there!

Our society sucks ass.

Yes. Well. If it's any consolation, the drones take the Lohan's of the world seriously and consider it news worthy. So in that regard, maybe consider trending 2nd as a +.

Yes, I know it's nuts. Just saying...

Results may fulx somewhat due to "targeted content" which may account for some of what you're seeing. But I don't know the insides of the Yahoo! system so maybe they're not dong such at this point.
In any event I'll take that as good news considering what day it is, and what day Tuesday is ;) :)

A quick side note, while I am all for bringing new voters into the fold it's important to note that we already have many supporters who are being less involved (not donating. phone banking, or in all too frequent cases even going out to vote). We can start racking up better numbers just be getting the people we already have more involved. If we'd had an increase in WA and were at say ~3/4 of our people showing up to vote we'd have locked the straw poll too (and I think it was only the solid GOTV effort in WA that gave us our margin over Santo).

The point? While momentum and national notice are good we can win with what we have provided we make use of it.
Let's rock the delegate count two days from now :D

TMZ is a video gossip "mag"
that sometimes does do what
are known to the trade as ole
fashioned scoops. sometimes!

The Yahoo article on what Paul said about FEMA is on the front of /r politics. That whole section of reddit has been hijacked by liberals and socialist in recent months. We really need to make our presence felt over there.

He doesn't say dumb things. He says truthful things.

Some people think ending the FED is "dumb". Some think ending the war machine is "dumb".

"dumb" is in the eye of the beholder.

We could ask RP to not say things that simple minded people might think are "dumb", like end the FED, or end the WARS.

But Ron won't do that.

That is not how he rolls.
