Ron Paul Speaking at CPAC in DC, Thursday Feb 7th

Who introduced RP?

"We have now, in this country, the Gold Standard for being a Conservative in America: Ron Paul"

Big applause!!

Who was that man? Is he a Rep or Senator?

I just got back from the CPAC meeting and saw Dr. Paul speak!!! I was soooooooo psyched to be there today, it was fantastic. I'm 27 and have never seen any political candidate speak in person before and I'm glad he was the first.

McCain was in the room before the RP people came in and there were plenty of dirty looks exchanged as those people came out and we filed in. Many of them also stayed in the room for Ron and I think it diluted what would have been a very rowdy Paul crowd.

He spoke mostly on economics (of course), inflation and the crashing dollar, out of control spending, social security, abortion, and foreign policy. The McCainiacs got pissed when he said 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq but I whooped.

I can't say Dr. Paul really captivated the audience but his message is SOLID and that is what people need to hear. Unfortunately I hear too much "Well Obama is just a motivating guy. I don't really know what he stands for but he knows how to get people excited." --> bad news.

I have a quick 4 min video I can post on youtube but I don't know how. I'll look into it.

Keep the faith, Romney's out!!! :D :D :D
