The presidential race in Montana, found McCain ahead on Wednesday morning. With 94% of precincts reporting, McCain has 50% of the vote in the Treasure State and Obama 46%, with third party candidate Ron Paul drawing 2%.

Imagine how much he could've gotten if he actually ran a national campaign and didn't ask to be taken off the ballot.

it wouldnt work because some states dont let you on the ballot if you lost a primary... which doesnt make sense at all because primaries are supposed to just be an organization deciding who they endorse. tells you how much control the 2 parties have...

Those laws are no good in Presidential elections. They were thrown out last time they tried to enforce them in 1980 for John Anderson.
