Ron Paul just scored with the most applause yet!

Some LaRaza losers on these fourms don't seem to understand that. It's been said before that they're beyond stupid mentally and couldn't care less about America. If Ron were to boycott any debate, it should have been this Racist LaRaza debate.

xao, look in the mirror you are no friend of liberty with comments such as these. You are basing decisions based on a group of people with gross generalizations.

wow Ron Paul speaks spanish too.....

When did he speak Spanish? Or is that a joke apropos the translation?

Screw you. I'm proudly of Mexican heratige, and we are honest people.

JCH - Don't worry about people giving you trouble. I think the other guy didn't mean to write what came out or how it can be interpreted. As I have iterated, Mexico should be a first rate nation and is not because of constant US government meddling and support of dictators. You have every right to be proud of your lineage. And this is coming from a WASP/Italian mixed fellow. And your women are very attractive by the way :)

Anyway, let's get some sleep guys and in the future be mindful of the fact that in Internet land, when we type things it is hard to convey inflection. So just be careful how we phrase some things!

Amazing. Simply amazing that people are catering to a racist group of LaRaza Racists and pro-illegal groups like this. Univison has outright promoted and sponsored LaRaza in the past.

"There shouldn't be a debate in spanish to begin with. It is a debate for the "Illegal vote" Which any illegal person in the country with a drivers license can vote. I do not see any debates being conducted in German, French, Italian, Sweedish, Arabic, etc, etc. Illegal immigration isn't about race, nationality,or color. It doesn't matter if the illegal is red, yellow, black or brown. Its about the law and allowing to many people into our country with no allegience to america without time to assimialte createing a foreign country within our own. This is being done on purpose to make the NAU transitition easier."

This is far from the first thread in which xao has spewed his venomous hatred. He's accused me of wanting to "see europeans extreminated [sic]" because I said "liberal" once meant what we now know as "classical liberal".

I'd recommend everyone simply ignore xao, if his views weren't enough of a reason his spamming should be

Wow, I am glad I went to a Christmas party tonight. I will get my co-worker from Panama to give me a synopsis of the debate. This thread is nuts, lumping people into groups is bad. I think that Dr. Paul is couragous for going into these debates that are focused on group think. I think it impacts people when he speaks his opinions on group rights and how it takes away the right of the individual. This is another area that will take a paridigm shift to change. We are constantly shown by the government only groups get rights and make things happen, the individual doesn't matter anymore. Dr. Paul is rejecting this publicy, of course he is going to grt booed. Hell, the GOP boos him. I love my brothers from the south, if they reinstate the draft, I am goin' to Argentina. Peace Out.

so what did the coworkers think?

Dude calm down. I'm not catering to anyone or anything but getting Ron Paul elected. All I said was that it is highly wrong to call 'Mexicans' ignorant; it is a major turnoff to a major voting bloc. I'm not assessing the merits of having a debate in Spanish; there was one, Ron Paul was invited, and so we are talking about it. That is the extent of my commentary.

None of us want the NAU and I bet 99.999999% of Paulites oppose it, regardless of their race or ethnicity. And I agree that we should lift the ban on Western European immigration; I think I brought up this issue in a previous post when my French Aunt was threatened by then-INS with deportation if she married my Uncle in Paris.

I am very proud of my Scottish, Austro-German, and French heritage. I try to support the English language by learning new words and improving my grammar. I try to honor it by knowing these nations' histories, not by attacking other groups.

The goal here is to get Dr. Paul in office. Latinos in general and those of Mexican descent in particular are voting blocs in which we should win. By and large Christian, hardworking, family oriented...why shouldn't Ron Paul win over such folks?

We are ALL on the same team. Whether we are Norwegians 'welcoming' Al Gore with Ron Paul signs (btw that was pretty awesome) or of Mexican descent. I don't care if you are fucking Romulan and have pointed ears. If you love liberty, you are on the team.

What happened here? I've seen references to Romulans and Klingons here for the first time in the last 15 minutes.

He then got boo'ed for saying he'd talk to Chavez and trade with Cuba.

He then explained himself, and got a mixture of cheers and boos.

And John McCain was laughing disgracefully the whole time.

McCain laughing disgracefully, eh? Glad to hear it ! My guess is that the average American did not tune into this debate. This little personal debate between Paul and McCain will get played up in the next english-speaking debate. The next debate will be important, as 12/12 in Iowa may be the last republican debate of 07. Those who have no previous exposure to McCain's disgraceful behavior, nor Ron Paul's integrity, will have an opportunity to see what has been building in this feud between them over foreign policy. It will be a great way for Dr. Paul to get a specific and focused question, and answer it beautifully.

Hey guys relax, at the end of the day, aren't we all just "Paultards":p:p:p;)

I'll go look for the youtubed version now.

Chill out

I can understand people being unhappy about living under someone like Castro or Chavez, but what do they expect us to do? Look where the Bay of Pigs got us, and who knows how many other operations over the years. Intervening in their affairs will only hurt our long-term interests.

The economic sanctions & embargos against Cuba have netted us nothing and done nothing but hurt the average Cuban. If people want to condemn the island to poverty and living like it was 1960, so be it, but I want no part in it.

Of course there are ignorant people of all races. Like the idiots in this thread who don't understand the perspective of the audience, many of which have lived under Castro, or have relatives who have. The fact that they booed Dr. Paul's response doesn't make them "ignorant Mexicans." It also doesn't mean that they can't tell the difference between the truth and a lie. It also doesn't make them neo-cons. It just means that they disagree, and could probably use more information.

People should just shut up instead of sticking their foot further down their throats. I'm starting to wonder about who the hell I'm associating myself with here with all this "ignorant Mexicans" defense. Trust me... there are plenty of Mexicans who can tell the difference between the truth and a lie. We're not just a bunch of dumb brown people who don't get it. Seriously.

So wait a second.. Do you live in Mexico or America? You can only pick one buddy. Being Mexican is a nationality not a ethnicity.

And there is no need to get all grumpy because someone used the "M word".

99% of all white people acknowledge people are equally stupid no matter what race.

I think this thread needs to be closed. It isn't serving any purpose except to cause anger and makes not just those who are posting here look bad, but makes all Ron Paul supporters look bad.

Let's focus on more important things.. such as.. I don't know.. campaigning for Ron Paul?
