People espousing an anti-immigrant message here are out of line with Congressman Paul's positions.

Congressman Paul believes free individuals should be able to freely and safely cross national boundaries to pursue their fortunes and those of their families.

He is opposed to a border fence because it sends a message of isolation and protectionism that is contrary to the rights of free individuals.

Congressman Paul says that what separates and divides are not languages, cultures, and national boundaries, but rather the irresponsible and wasteful policies of big government that work at odds to the freedoms of individuals.

Don't pay any attention to them. Most of the people you're associating yourself with are good people. I don't think Mexicans in particular are ignorant. There are ignorant people of all races in America. It's up to us to educate them on the truth and Ron Paul helped to do that tonight. I applaud him for going. We first have to understand what it means to be truly free in order to be truly free.
