Everything led up to a perfect storm. You don't constantly tell people we plan to take over your party and change it. They were automatically put on the defensive. How do you feel when people tell you you need to stop drinking soda? There are a lot of factors. The worst being the campaign sending mixed messages and apparently having an agenda besides RP for President. If that is the case, donations were taken under false pretenses. The delegates were allowed to be thrown under the bus time and again. The campaign should have been the ones taking legal action. They didn't because they didn't want to do anything to cause waves for Rand and the C4L future issues agenda. End the Fed went back to Audit the Fed. RP supporters were painted as little more than thugs in the media and the campaign did little to squash that perception....even feeding it by calling for everyone to behave. Well behaved people rarely make history...they do make good sheep.

I have the same feeling. Rand was threatened after the TSA incident and he was threatened after that. The campaign changed from offensive into defensive / passive / dismissive / negative mode - suddenly. No more smiley faces from Mrs. Paul, etc. No more showing his granddaughter.
No more campus rallies. Hiding in Congress not saying a word. The last Cavuto interview was on the phone and poorly executed.

If the email was fake, the campaign would've said so immediately after people got it.

If not the campaign, Dr. Paul would have been on if it were fake. Unless he is bound and gagged in a basement somewhere.

He's doing what he can with what he has, nothing wrong with that.

Well, if The Fed gets a true audit, people will want to end it anyway.

Sort of like when someone says Paul wants to end Social Security or whatever and he says, "I don't need to do that. It's doing a fine job of running out of money and ending on its own."
