Bump for donations! Our family just pitched in $500 to get things rolling.

There have been $200 in additional donations since. :)

The Donation site is linked in the OP, and can also be found here:http://www.revolutionpac.com/2011/12/iowa-grassroots-digital-billboard/

Whether you are able to help with a donation or not, please share the link wherever you can, so we can get this out there promoting Ron Paul in Des Moines and for all the traffic who will see it along I-80 as they travel through town.

Thanks to all!

OK, donation sent.

I've been reading the latest PPP results from NH. Romneys got a hell of a lead, but he also has soft support. 35% might be convertible.

Lots of older voters. Jobs, economy and cutting spending/debt are the most important to them. Issues not personalities.

highly conservative. lots of independents too. TeaParty is weak. Paul has strong principles 69% to 51% Romney.

OMG only 9% think Paul can beat Obama! Still working through the cross tabs, but it looks like Romney, Huntsman? and Newt are our main sources.

So, it looks like we need to play up our principles, appeal to older voters, show that we are the only ones serious about the economy and cutting spending and above all pose a credible chance to beat Obama. Hopefully we can play up a win in Iowa.

Has this already started running since it's less than 2 weeks until Jan.3 or does that mean the total needed to run until Jan.3 is now lower?

The total needed will be lower. We need $3000 which will be for the final 7 days through the 3rd.

Please share far and wide. Only need $2000 more by Tuesday for the week before the caucus.
