Ehh ehh?
Nice design and interesting thread. Agree with the tilt up comments.
Would you please post what your cut is off of the zazzle store and if any percentage goes to the campaign somehow. It may be on the site, but if so did not notice it and would be an interesting tidbit for this thread.
BTW -- We use the dove of peace in our graphics for R3publican.
Definitely a great point. Yes, in fact, the required mark up by Zazzle is 10%. My plan is that all of the proceeds that are gained from selling at Zazzle will go into creating larger quantities and higher quality merchandise on a custom e-commerce store. I plan on buying thousands of stickers, shirts, banners, and ensure that the quality is excellent. And since they're purchased in large quantities, the cost will be much more affordable than Zazzle, etc.
I put a note about this at http://www.zazzle.com/ronpauldesigns
The second way I'm raising funds is at http://ronpauldesigns.blogspot.com/p/shop.html through Chip-In. We can get high quality, weather-proof vinyl bumper stickers for $2 each if we can raise enough funds to buy in bulk. This also cover shipping, as well as enough funds to sustainably grow and purchase more, and large amounts of merchandise so that we can get as much of this stuff out into the public as possible.
OK, I didn't get that bit about shipping -- are you saying that covers shipping to us individually once the larger amount is purchased?
I will throw my advice in since I have done and am doing this right now:
First ask yourself what is your goal? Spread the message, money, etc.
To do this design in ONE color and in mass would cost over $6,000. Otherwise, this design will never get into anyone's hands. The production time on this design will be at least 4-6 weeks since it is new. Just the freight on the bumper stickers that I ordered was $340. And that was on a pallet to a commercial address.
The reason you don't see any retailers sell bumper stickers for $.17 is because they would lose money. Even the $.99 price is not seen anywhere. And Ron Paul 2012 will end at some point, how much will you be sitting on that didn't sell? We handed out for FREE over 3,000 shirts at the D.C. march in 2008. Do the math at $3 to $5 a shirt? How much did we lose? Can you afford to eat even $1,000 of inventory?
In 2008, I spent 80 plus hours a week for Ron Paul from May 2007 to Feb 2008. That time was spent on local, state, and national organizations. And another person worked full time on filling product orders. This will take up at least 20 hours a week of your time.
And most people only care about price. If you don't run this in bulk and get low prices, people won't buy. I can't tell you how much free stuff I have given away. Just last Thursday for Ron Paul's speech at Florida State University, I gave out hundreds of bumper stickers for free.
We didn't want to do this again. We lost a lot of money, and this is a massive headache. This year we did like everyone else and waited for the announcement for Ron Paul 2012. But it didn't happen. And as time went by, we got worried. We knew that design, production, and shipping takes a very long time. So in March I stepped up and did this again. My goal is simple: Get as many Ron Paul products out there as possible.
So call me, and I will help you at least set goals on funds. After you have the cash, I will have you talk to my vendors. But understand that these are high volume operations that only sell in bulk. I only buy the best products, and I would never sell something I wouldn't use.

The campaign needs to replace the eagle on the RonPaul2012.com banner with your design.
i think ive been borderline annoying about it on facebook in addition to starting this thread but will continue to do so! haha
