Ron Paul Designs creator has new design for 2012 brand with eagle symbolism!

I'll print the shirts if nobody else has yet. I can print them on BaySide Made in USA Tees for about $12 each - and I could include a nice little eagle necktag or left sleeve print or something else on the back. I like the idea of just printing a smaller eagle as a back necktag. I already printed the other Ron Paul brand proposal on BaySide Tees that was adopted by the campaign, and those were $15 since they were so complicated, but this design is much easier to print.

I did just order some Carolina Blue BaySide Tees yesterday, so they should be in today. I could conceivably vectorize the art tonight and print the shirts tomorrow. If I do it'd probably just be a small run of the 10 Carolina Blue Tees I have in stock and I'd like to see how it'd look on Navy with white text and a light blue eagle.

Also, I could print the design on something like Jerzees 50/50 heavyweight blend or Gildan Ultra Cotton for about $7-$9 each depending on color. And that's not even bulk pricing, but personally I prefer to print on American made Tees.

Tee's can be very inexpensive and accessible if the printer agrees with the movement :)

He has shirts in his zazzle store, I do know that.

do proceeds from sales go towards the campaign?

No, I don't even know if that is actually legal. Grassroots efforts like the tv ads they are putting together might be ok for you to donate to. Not sure. But the ones the guys who did High Tide and For Liberty are making might be good. I'm sure they'll post them when they are asking for donations for airtime in Iowa.

I always find it funny when I'm asked this. Buy a Tee online from a store that donates proceeds to Ron Paul and it costs $20 plus shipping, usually $4-8 bucks on top of the base price. You want a 2XL? $3 more. 3XL? $4 more. It's laughable. The 2XLs and 3XLS don't need to be marked up like that. You could end up paying almost $30 for a 2XL Tee that's printed on just the front in 2 colors. Sure some stores have it a little bit cheaper, but they aren't even selling MADE IN USA Tees. I can't stress that enough. I can print their inventory and sell it on 100% cotton or a 50/50 blend Tees made in Honduras or Mexico and do it for half what their doing it for. I only know of one online store selling Ron Paul tees that has decent prices besides my own, and they don't even take custom orders.

I prefer to let my customers keep their own money to donate to Dr. Paul when they see fit. Maybe you want to buy a Tee and save your extra money to donate on a moneybomb. I'm not gonna overprice my apparel and then say I'm donating to the campaign. Forget that. I'd rather get his name out and make a buck a shirt instead of ripping fellow Ron Paul supporters off.

I say make a profit if you can and there isn't anything wrong with that especially if you have cool merch.

I think alot of people are thinking everyone needs to be in volunteer status with EVERY aspect of their lives around election time and the world just doesn't work that way.

D2d I agree is 100% volunteer as is standing around on street corners screaming RON PAUL WOOHOO lol, when you are creating a business with product and having to deal with shipping, customers, websites, sales in general, taxes (if you pay them) then why NOT make a living if you can.

I am LOVING the designs on this thread, those are CLEAN

The only comment I have is about the light blue. I refer to it as "UN blue" and I'm not thinkin' that particular color should be used for Dr. Paul's campaign. Seeing as how he introduces a bill every year to get the U.S. out of the U.N. :)

Zazzle is a complete ripoff unless you buy 25 or more shirts. Even then, small independent shops (even in your own area) can still produce higher quality for less money. I'm sorry I'm ranting on here, and I'm not ranting at you, just in general, but let me break it down...

I (or any other small printshop) can get BaySide Made in USA blanks shipped to my shop next day, print them and ship them the day after that. The BaySide blank, regardless of size (because of an average) is less than $5 each. Jerzees Gildan, Hanes, Anvil, etc. range fron $1.50 to $4 a blank Tee. Printing cost is mostly just time and effort if you already have the setup. The rest is pure profit to the printer or seller. If you are paying more than $9 for a regular Tee or more than $15 for a Made in USA Tee, then you are paying too much. The only reason I even charge THAT much is to cover shipping. Shipping can get expensive - up to $5 just to send a Tee, but I eat most of that cost and deduct it from my "profit" since I only charge $2 for shipping and none on more than 1 item.

I apologize if this post is out of line. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

That's ilegal actually. His stuff is cheaper though isn't it? And do you know that when you buy from the campaign, most of that money just covers the merchandise, and it all goes towards your $2500 max. It might be better to buy the Ron Paul Designs stuff, and make a donation to the campaign?
