Ron Paul coming up on CNN

Maybe it was something like

Q:What do you think of how the Republican Party is treating you?

A: Well I think that the party and the media are implicit in this act and uh if they keep treating me this way I will deffinetly not win *laughts* But I think they see me as a serious threat especially if I were to run Independently....but I think ultimately win or lose its about the movement. Its very large and I think it can make a difference. We at the campaign are very enthusiastic about winning and we will do all we can. We've got a huge moneybomb coming up on the 21st and more money on hand than anyone. I'm the only true Republican among this crowd and the only GOP candidate that is providing change so I think I have a lot more chance to win the primary than Fred or Rudolf but if the Party members keep treating me like they do it will only make my base stronger and make the possibility of me splitting the GOP vote stronger.

You know .. Its probally better off that we ARE ignored by the media till the others drop out.

hahaha, sorry guys. You are all right. I was victim of sensationalist editing. I just rewound the tivo, and it reminded me of a daily show/steven colbert interview with all the editing.

the sad thing is that I'll bet a few people bought it that otherwise would have voted for him. Who knows, maybe it will work in our favor somehow, but I sure hope Ron Paul knows about it and is pissed.

No, he CAN win the nomination! It's just not extremely likely. However, this is our LAST CHANCE FOR LIBERTY before this nation becomes a FASCIST STATE! We cannot give up!

I think RP should avoid all msm interviews the day before/day of primaries. Eff um These are not NEWS organizations, their only plan is to marginalize and kill the vote. Disgusting. Why are these people on air?

stop watching all news then....just watch utubes of it.....you people are huting us more by watching this crap they do.....you all piss me off by watching the news and give them ratings....and then you cry about it...stupid ass people on here.......

The whole thing was edited bullshit.

But, people have to understand that we are a very long shot right now. That is reality.

A very good showing in NV could change this. Otherwise, I say independent run.

It shouldnt. Any real RP supporters KNOW that RP is not giving up.

There are supporters out there who aren't well-connected who may be discouraged by this. Look at the people on this board who are.

One of the biggest obstacles are those voters who like Ron Paul's ideas but repeat the line "he can't win". Those are the people we're trying to turn around, and this doesn't help.

So, am I missing something about the "ratings" thing?

Don't they track television ratings through polling resources such as Nielsen's? Or does the television now send a return signal through digital cable? I know that air broadcast stations couldn't get that...

When you click on CNN.com or FOXnews.com, you really ARE giving them a direct rating with the site counter, but television watching? How would that work?

Just curious...

Notice they did this the night before Sc and NV primary/caucus..

good thing its friday night, a lot of people go out for 1-2 drinks, go out for some food, or watch movies, so it won't affect us too much

Wish I could be more like you - You're so smart - You're awesome!!

Except for the 55 and over population who are the most prolific voters and get their candidates spoon-fed to them! (Disclaimer: does not apply to any 55+ forum users / Ron Paul supporters :))

I saw the interview...

Roberts asked Dr. Paul something to this effect: "Would you say it is safe to say that it is unlikely you will win the nomination?"

Dr. Paul replied that it is safe to say that. He did not say he won't win the nomination. As per his usual, Dr. Paul was being his humble, honest self, meaning he was being honest about his chances. That's one of the things I like about Dr. Paul: lack of arrogance; totally humble.

I pray that Ron Paul does well in the primaries and/or wins the general election (whether republican or otherwise).

And yeah, it was very obvious the whole piece was edited quite a bit, made it feel weird and not flowing.
