Ron Paul/Barry Goldwater Jr. to be on the ballot in LA

I'm new to the forum.....

but since this new movement has begun, I would say better late than never. I coordinated the effort for District 2 and 3, and our paperwork is sent from both districts. I opened my eyes to Ron Paul just in time to register Republican to vote for him in the primary. Unlike most of you, I am coming from the Democratic side rather than the disgruntled Republican side. College made me realize that I don't want to work for what they consider to be "the greater good".

What city are you in?
Thank you for getting this together.
I'm not a digruntled republican, i'm a disgruntled american.
Let's do this!

Well...

I'm currently living in Uptown New Orleans. I moved back here after I graduated college in Hattiesburg, MS. I want to stay here, but I may have found a job in my field between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, so if all goes well I may move when my lease is up in February. At least my car gets 40mpg, so the commute won't run me broke yet. I'm not sure how much longer I want to pay extortionate rent here in a place that isn't the greatest in the world to raise my two daughters.

I lived in River Ridge up to Katrina. Off of Dickory in the creek apartments.
My old roommate still works at the shell building downtown.
Are you going to the rally?

I can't make it. My new daughter is only 4 weeks old. I'm sure it will be great. I saw Ron Paul live in Kenner. I can't wait to hopefully hear the roar of the crowd at the rally on youtube when they announce that Ron Paul will be on the ballot in Louisiana.

I bet! You will have earned that big smile!

If we can get Ron on the ballot here, we can really think about doing a money bomb with maybe AdamT's PAC and cover louisiana in TV ads.
If we can cause McCain to loose this state, that would be an appropriate slap back to the state LAGOP leadership that cheated us from our victory at the caucus.

And if Ron wins this state, he will hold 9 electorial votes which may decide who becomes president. He could used those votes as leverage to get a cabinet position, or to have the opportunity to appoint on the cabinet positions. Maybe even Treasury Sec.
That would be the story of the Presidential election! I love it! haha. I remember advocating we get Ron's name on the ballot in every state we could, but it got shot down pretty quick as being too lofty.
