He just asked the people to get Independents and Democrats to help out for a year!
Yes, He Did, isn't it absolutely great ?

LoL - I thought the exact same thing right after posting that.
The others could fill a venue with people ready to throw eggs or pies.
The reason signs were allowed was that the event was wide open, standing room only! Totally free and easy... no tickets required... just walk up and find a good spot!I note that Berkeley allowed signs. At UCLA we all had to leave our signs behind and those that managed to sneak them in to the stadium got them confiscated.
When I came out to get my sign, all signs were gone. They said "someone took them all".
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke outside at UC Berkeley on Thursday night, telling a chilly crowd of about 1,000 that they need less government in their lives and more leeway to make their own decisions.
very good, thanks. Here's a clip from KTVU that has media coverage come up a lot.
"Ron Paul stickers were everywhere in SF".

Now it's getting ridiculous...

That is the largest 1000 person crowd I've ever seen.... more like 3000 or 4000 or more.

Ah, lol. It sounded like they were saying the crowd itself was chilly... (as in "he got a cold reception"). But you guys actually were cold.It was pretty chilly!
Hey, I did hear you!!!!The reason signs were allowed was that the event was wide open, standing room only! Totally free and easy... no tickets required... just walk up and find a good spot!
I had a lot of quiet people around me, and i was near the middle. Ron Paul needs to do more of these if he can... there seemed to be a lot of people checking him out for the first time!
I made a lot of noise... my wife thought it was embarassing but I didnt let her shut me up this time! If anyone there heard a guy shouting "JUST COME HOME" when militarism was brought up, it was me.
Also, when Dr Paul said that if the Patriot act was renamed "The Repeal the Fourth Amendment Act" Congress wouldnt have voted for it... I shouted "THEY WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR THAT TOO"
Sure we lean far to the left out here in the bay, but we also love LIBERTY!!!
An interesting note about his speech was that when he discussed socialism and sharing wealth, he approached it from a very respectful point of view... that intentions are good and people are trying to help others.Hey, I did hear you!!!!
I was about 20 yards away from Dr. Paul, he was so amazing!!! I will start a new thread and post some pictures.... What a great night!
yes! i thought that was very interesting. i don't think i've ever heard him approach it so carefully. maybe because the east bay is so liberal, he thought we would be more receptive to that message. An interesting note about his speech was that when he discussed socialism and sharing wealth, he approached it from a very respectful point of view... that intentions are good and people are trying to help others.
