Ron Paul At U.C. Berkeley 4/5/12 Official Thread

Confirmed on the eventbrite page:

Due to the overwhelming RSVPs for this event, we've moved to a larger location outdoors. The town hall with Ron Paul will now take place at MEMORIAL GLADE on the corner of Hearst Ave and Euclid Ave. If you already pre-registered, you do not need to sign up again. Your initial ticket voucher will still work.

HA! Saw your tweets. I'll go follow you! Have so much fun!!!! The website says it HAS been moved.

I like that they use vouchers now. When he came here it was basically first come and hundreds were left outside and they seemed irritated and even chanted 'we want paul' during the speech.

Ron Paul.

The only Republican that could fill a venue in Berserk-ly CA.

It is kind of amazing, when you consider that it's one of the most left-wing cities in the country. I'm just wondering what's going to happen when (if) some lefties who attend hear the stuff they hate. I can't imagine them cheering for some of his ideas. Lefties, that is.

KTVU Channel 2 (Oakland) (Independent TV Station) had a very fair and detailed piece on Ron Paul's day in the Bay Area. The reporter interviewed several RP Supporters who were sign waving on San Francisco street corners in front of the HUGELY SUCCESSFUL Fundraiser earlier today. Note: Our Supporters are great on Camera!!!

The reporter ended her piece LIVE from UC- Berkeley and reported on the Event Location Change. This report aired from 6:09 thru 6:12 pm PDT this evening. OveraLL, a very fair and informative piece of journalism.

Someone needs to take a panoramic picture from one of those buildings near the rally. That way we can really judge the size of the crowd.

Looks to be around 2500 maybe? KerriAnn is just to the right of the stage, back about 6 rows from front, so this is over half that we see in the pic above.

Edit: little over half that we can imagine we see :) 6 rows back from front
