Ron Paul-$8 Million this quarter

there was an article about this right when Q3 started. You never answered my other question, Zanzibar..... what is the 2.5M blitz going toward besides TV?

Secondly, if we want to beat '07's Q4 total we will need to raise over $25M. I believe that is what Ron raised in '07.

$19M comes to mind, but I'm not sure why.

Ron sent out an email on what he was going to do. Part of it was direct mail, part tv and other ads....I don't remember all of it, but it was posted on the forum somewhere.

they never said they transfered it, just that it was TRANSFERABLE to be cash on hand if they wanted to.

but they may have transferred it, to get to the $8 million.

The campaign was claiming to have $4 million cash on hand and the only way they could get to that number was if they included the $1 million that was transferable from his Congressional account. In any case, that money will be transferred if it hasn't already.

From Wikipedia: 2007 Ron Paul fundraising:

Q1: 0.6M
Q2: 2.3M
Q3: 5.2M
Q4: 19.9M

(all numbers rounded down to nearest 0.1M.)

Yeah, but they made it clear they were just 'counting' it mentally, not switching it at that time. Their forms reported less cash, and the money still in the Congressional account. But I'm guessing it went in this quarter or we wouldn't be at $8 million.

What I would want to know is how much active duty military donated. Last time we doubled the opposition, it would be awesome if we tripled the opposition.
