Rememer, Iowa and NH have been exposed to extreme campaigning. MI, NV, FL, SC et cetera have not. It is ridiculous of MSM to put so much emphasis on these first two tiny states. Actually, the only rationale for it, is the circular reasoning that because MSM makes them so important, they become important! Anyway, Ron Paul never had MSM on his side, and probably never will. So the first two states mean less for him than they do for Huckabee and McCain. Without victory, they would be dead. Ron Paul continues under the MSM radar in any case.
Ron Paul didn't win over the desperately intensive campaigning of Huckabee and Romney in IA and NH. But that is not what the fight looks like in the other states. Not even Romney can afford spending such amounts per voter nationally.
Going forward, Huckabee and McCain will fall back. Romney will probably stay second or so, and Giuliani will become the new chief rival. The good news is still that there is no clear GOP leader! The third state will see a third winner, and maybe the fourth state a fourth winner.
