Romney's Paul Praise

Yeah, you'd think they would know that Ron's support is going nowhere. Although I think Rick was a little bit genuine in his remarks.

Did anyone really think that he would go out and say Newt rocks or Perry is awesome for whatever? Ron Paul was the neutral candidate on the stage :)

This makes it hard for them to attack him. They need his voting block.

I was under the impression that he said it because he wants Paul to win Iowa, because he thinks Newt is a bigger threat to him in New Hampshire and overall. He thinks he'd have an easier time with Gingrich than with Paul. Let's make him regret this!

Both Perry and Romney giving props to Ron is awesome. Whatever their intent was, it only spotlights Ron more.

Gingrich kissed Branstad's ass for obvious reasons, still hoping for an endorsement since he has decided to remain neutral

Michelle kissed Cains ass in order to pull his voter base

When someone pays a compliment to our guy it is good form to say 'thank you'.

I thought Perry's compliment was especially sincere. You can tell the Federal Reserve is on his mind since it comes up frequently in his speeches and answers.

It really disappointed me that Paul didn't extend an olive branch to anyone in response. This was a way of the other candidates reaching out to him, maybe even paving the way for endorsements down the line. Paul accepted their praise with arrogance; he should have reciprocated and brought the warm fuzzies. He came off as a know-it-all.

It's good news for us, but i hope NOBODY, not one RP supporter buys it and would consider supporting a mainstream GOP candidate

I agree i was shocked all around, but Ron's response was awesome and everyone applauded I think you are reading to much into it.. What changed the mood? Looking for Veep slots now that they know Ron's gonna win? :p

I majorly disagree - he came across as being sincerely appretiative of the positive attention, while at the same time not pandering to their desires for him to endorse one of them. I think Ron Paul clearly used this as an opportunity bring them all together, which is even better than reciprocation with fuzzies. He backhanded them all with truth. For the win.
