Romney to select Paul Ryan for VP slot

Paul Ryan is a bad pick. He would not make a great president and won't get anyone excited about Romney's campaign. Romney must be playing for second place. Just going through the motions to pretend we have a choice.

See, "Dog and pony show"
Though I find most of the Definitions have been cleaned up.
"Dog and pony show" is a colloquial term which has come to mean a highly promoted, often over-staged performance, presentation, or event designed to sway or convince opinion for political, or less often, commercial ends. Typically, the term is used to connote disdain, jocular lack of appreciation, or distrust of the message being presented or the efforts undertaken to present it.

Just what the Republicans needed, another big-spending white guy with a comb over. Talk about change. Although to be fair to Romney, I believe the part in Ryan's hair begins on the right side of his head and flows naturally to the left, while the opposite is true for Romney. I guess that's something.

Vote on Drudge Report. Was Paul Ryan a good choice? Currently, 79% say yes. Let's change that.

Romney's thinking: Man, I've got to pick a HARDCORE fiscal conservative because I'm such a big-government boob.

Reality: Paul Ryan's fiscal conservatism sucks.

Total fail pick. Going to be easy to pick apart.

How much do you want to bet Obama bashes Romney for picking a radical conservative?

The Democrats have ran ads in the past depicting Ryan literally throwing grandma off a cliff. That was when he was just a Congressman, as a Vice Presidential running mate it'll be worse. They'll paint Ryan exactly as he ain't: an extreme fiscal conservative.

Guys, this is a fail ticket.
It was a fail ticket from the get-go. I stopped taking this seriously when the "official" GOP anointed Mittens. When people are stuck with two bad choices, they're generally just going to go with what's familiar. /ramble

One moderate picks another moderate. Doesn't mean a damn thing to me.

Nobody 2012

I'm ready to jump aboard the Obama train just to shut down these GOP moderates. Anyone else with me?
