It is clear the Dr. Paul has no intention of hiring a professional staff or a speech writer or someone to take care of his wardrobe or anything else required for a modern day presidential candidate to have a shot. Way late now and probably wouldn't make a difference at this point. It is a shame that so many libertarians are so hard headed to the 'the message' attracts enough people in and of itself. This how the LP ends up with the Badnariks of the world.

Paul had a shot and the money but he simply doesn't have the skills. It was a nice run and I'll continue my support but what a missed opportunity solely to blame on the lack of experience.

This is what the CNN article says when a candidate suspends their nomination:

On the Republican side, decisions on how to allocate delegates is left to the state parties.

This sounds very positive because the states Romney did well in also liked RP.

Romney suspending ends any chance of a brokered convention everyone here is dreaming about. We have been pulling on average single digets picking up a few romney voters will not help us enough to begine beating Mccain everywhere which we need to do to get a brokered convention or win the most amount of delegates. Those of you happy Romney is suspending out are fooling yourselves. You should be begging that huck dops out as well now to give us any remote chance.

BOSTON - Mitt Romney will suspend his presidential campaign, NBC News has learned.

His withdrawal effectively cedes the Republican nomination to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

The former Massachusetts Republican governor has been seriously trailing McCain in the delegate count since Super Tuesday and is scheduled to speaks at the Conservative Political Action Conference at 12:30 p.m. ET today in DC.

Former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark., remains in the race but trails Romney in the delegate counts.

What are you talking about? McCain is miles more conservative than Mitt. Huckleberry is very conservative, just not a real paleocon like Ron.
