Romney has proposed doubling the size of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility and support

If we want to build an iron-clad case against him, it needs to be clear that we understand the difference between the role/authority of the President and that of a state governor. The longer quotes you posted above regarding the excise tax only apply to MA law.

Oh dear god what freaking difference does it really make between that of a President and that of a state governor? Either you have a philosophical view on taxes or you don't. Mitt Romney has been a supporter of cap and trade period.

ROMNEY: “Oh, I’m not a man that favors taxes, and so I’m not going to -- I’m not going to make a statement of that nature.

Classic lying douche. Romney increased taxes and fees in Mass. 7 times. I guess he doesn't support abortion now too although he promised to continue the genocide of millions of babies as governor. I guess he doesn't support spending increases although he increased spending 8% per year as governor. I guess he is a supporter of gun rights although he received a D- grade for such by Gun Owners of America. It goes on forever, issue after issue...

I am waiting for Romney to come out and say he doesn't support Goldman Sacs with all the other banks funding his campaign. Will such statement be true?

Romney tried to find reason to reinstate the death penalty.

Seeking to bring about legislation next year that would reinstitute the death penalty in Massachusetts, Governor W. Mitt Romney (R) announced the formation of the Governor’s Council on Capital Punishment at the Massachusetts State House yesterday.

Look, this will only strengthen the support for Romney. The large majority of the RCN delegates strongly support the death penalty. As they would support doubling the size of Guantanamo four or five years ago.

Romney would probably support expanding Gitmo to house every single Ron Paul supporter known.

I don't think RNC delegates are necessarily opposed to the death penalty and Gitmo. It's better to attack Romney on issues like his tax hikes, Romneycare, his support for gun control, his waffling on the abortion issue, etc.

is Gitmo for al qaida or for US citizens???

So far as I know, Al Qaeda and Taliban. The US citizens go to places like ADX Florence "Supermax" prison in Florence, Colorado, or Leavenworth. The taliban guys are going to have to be released once peace talks are finished, in accordance with the Geneva convention. The Al Qaeda guys will be released as soon as there is a written cessation of hostilities. Which will likely be never.

I am really scared of Romney! How can anyone seriously think about giving this man power?
